Stl coming out the gates pumped on defense, gotta give them credit too and not discredit the oline. They're one of the best at rushing the passer, and aside from the Irvin pick the D hasn't been stout at all.

Neither of those penalties Sweezy committed were necessary.  They scored because we were pushed back into horrendous field position from the penalty.

I don't think any penalty is 'necessary' I think thats why the throw the flags. If you're saying it shouldn't have been flagged, I can't agree with that. 

And they had Seattle nailed inside the 5 after their first punt - and then stalled.

No they should've thrown the flags.  I meant more that the penalty wasn't necessary for the gains to be completed, which makes it even worse that they were wiped out if that makes sense.

I was listening to ESPN radio earlier, and the question was brought up - will Seattle have a hard time 'waking up' for this game? I can't really say they're having troubles getting up but gap control on defense is atrocious...Stacy running through tunnel like holes and some poor tackling is evident.

I think we'll come out in the 2nd half a little more polished
