SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Not sure if you guys saw this, but NY Times did a nice feature on John Moffitt and the reasons behind his decision to retire. He's back in Seattle and already interviewing for radio gigs.

This Moffitt guy lol

He's been making his rounds across various sports radio stations and it's getting old, to be honest. Of course the guys at KJR/ESPN 710 love him but the more I hear him speak the less I want to hear of him.

This was him in an interview last week; I think his first in Seattle since calling it quits. He said something along the lines of ''If I was still starting for Seattle, I'd still be playing''  He touched on how shady his experience with the Browns was also. They basically said 'take less money or we'll fail you on your physical'

The Browns response to asshat:

Yeah I'm a little tired of Moffit. He got a front page NYTimes article saying he retired early because of the health risks or something, when it really seemed like he just didn't have what it took to earn a starting position.

Wow Thurmond.  Just wow.

Looks like it'll be just like last year, with Jeremy Lane and Sherman down the stretch.

He should fight it, like sherman did. Only because we will need him against NO. After that game we will be fine with maxwell and lane

They've said he will not appeal I believe.  Probably to have everyone full strength for the playoffs like last year.

But if he appeals there is still 4 games left after NO for him to serve the suspension. We really need dude next monday. I was hoping Sherman would be on Jimmy and WT3 would be on marques

SMH at some fans not reading into what Walt is actually being suspended for and yelling "cheaters!" at the Hawks....

Funny you mention that; I was on some Seahawks boards just earlier and the reaction was so extreme it became comical to read. Just to paraphrase, comments ranged from 'Cut Walt' to all types of conspiracy theories. Even placing blame on Pete and his 'loose ship' and my personal favs:
Carson Palmer just put up 40 points on Indy. Clemens also had 40 points today. Out team will likely be back to barely winning...
*SIGH*. So, seeing as how idiot Thurmond has decided to screw the team and the entire city of Seattle with his selfishness

I sometimes hate people.

Still blows my mind that sports leagues punish people for smoking weed. If anything, if you smoke and are still effective, that's even more impressive lol. It's just an image thing, has nothing to do with performance, which makes it total BS.

Crazy were in the exact same situation as last year.. Sherm, Maxwell, and Lane. Wonder if WInfield comes back
