SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

I'm not a fan of trading for V Jax is a good thing. We're not a throwing team. Let's stick to the run game

More than that, I trust the young guys...  Let's let them develop and see what they're made of.

This team was built on development of young players and giving guys a chance up and down the draft board.

If we're going to spend/trade, it's gotta be on the O or D lines.

Yes

Some bright news here—we're currently ranked #3 in overall DVOA and #3 in weighted DVOA.

I don't know if you guys follow the metric, but its predictive power has been pretty excellent in the past.  For example, they had Carolina ranked as one of the top teams in the league last year after they started 1-4.  They had us ranked as a top team in 2012 while we were messing around .500.  Both teams exploded to elite status and justified that ranking down the stretch.

A good sign for our chances of breaking out down the stretch.

Glad we didnt trade for VJax or Clem personally. I wouldve liked to see an O line depth move, but oh well.

Just gotta get healthy

Hope they show it because they need to win the next three before the onslaught of Cards, 9ers, Eagles, 9ers Cards

That is a disgusting stretch to have btw

Unger practiced, everyone else still status seems to still be up in the air

It is, but it's also an opportunity.

Niners are already 0-1 against the Cards. We can win those 4 games and be right back at the top.

Yup.

And I might be in the minority here, but I just feel like the Cards are a product of a soft schedule so far. They won the games against the sorry teams (Giants, Skins, Raiders), barely won against the Chargers in a flukey game, beat the 49ers when they were having weirdly crappy 2nd halves, beat the Eagles late, and lost to Denver. Yea I know a win is a win, but I just don't believe them right now. I want to see what they can do against Demarco and Dez before I pay them some mind.

The Cardinals are doing it with stout defense so i think we can give them some credit! Their defense for the past couple years has been showing signs of just how good it could be but this season they really have come along! I get what you're saying though they always seem to get to a good start and then flame out as the season goes along we'll see!

I remember thinking of the line as a big strength of this team going into 2012.

There's no doubt that Cable's performance needs to be questioned.

Seahawks are weathering this injury storm, and hopefully everyone gets healthy during this tough game stretch coming up.
