SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Great win over a damn good team. They applied pressure all game but the team stuck to the gameplan and Russ had some throws today I haven't seen him make all season long.

Tony Moeaki is a guy I'm excited about. He's blocking well and is catching the ball. I know it's been minimal and very vanilla like routes but I feel he'll be more and more of the offense as the weeks go by. The less and less our WR's do (or do for our QB, some would say

) more of it will fall on guys like Moeaki, Willson, Helfet.

Bruce Irvin, im tellin ya guys, is really developing into an all around talent. He doesn't look like a guy on the field just using his speed to run wild. He's applying pressure with an advanced set of hands and moves. His improvement in the running game is surprising, night and day from where he was just last season. And the most important thing Im seeing from the guy is his instincts. He's reacting quickly and often when he guesses he's guessing right.

The entire defense deserves a round of applause. 2013-esque.

Coincidence it comes with the return of Wagner? I think not...

Bobby Wagner's return was the key. Without him in the middle that defense just isn't the same, regardless of problems with the pass rush.

NothingToL0se, I haven't been watching any Niners games this season, I wonder why is that offense struggling? Is it Kaep? Because I was actually impressed by that receiving corps (on paper) earlier this year.

As for the game I'm hoping Marshawn does what he usually does when he plays the red and gold, which is run violently against a team/franchise he genuinely could care less for growing up in Oakland...

 i thought i posted in the gameday thread, oops.

but to answer your question, DsLee DsLee , its a combination of coaches and players. For whatever reason, our playcalling has been very vanilla and ugly. theres nothing explosive about the offense. It doesn't help that there are a ton of drops either. Kap has improved from years past, but he still struggles at times with the simple throws. (while making the hard ones look simple). Don't want to get too much into detail, but all in all...our offense sucks. theres a reason we havent scored **** in the 2nd half.

anyways, hopefully seeing the hawks will light a fire under the offense's ***.

Every time someone brings up the Seahawks and ask me who my favorite player on the team is, I tell them Bruce Irvin. They ask who that is every time

. Because of how he came up on and off the field. I respect it. Watched him at WV and was so excited when we got him. He's a key player and makes good decisions most of the time and those decisions make big plays usually.

Love the way Irvin is playing right now... He looks like a complete player.

yawp. conversation ends pretty much there. no point in continuing a convo with them. Their heads might turn once I start talking play calling.

Anyways, I love how defense looked last game. Can't wait until Thanksgiving. I feel as if we're back in a groove. Just gotta pull through the rest of this horrid schedule

went to the game yesterday, was live as expected.
on the talks about bruce, you know he's doing something right when you come back and your housemate who is a card's fan (and from arizona) talks about how well he played :pimp:
also cannot wait for thursdays game!

Sherman is the smartest when it comes to manipulating.

Yall catch him tell the reporters, "thats what happens when Marshawn gets fined." ?

These boys have each others back like no other. The article saying Earl Thomas flashed on the D-linemen for eating sunflower seeds during practice, and then ultimately bringing the team together and trusting each other?! 8) :smokin 8)
