SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Tough loss. I hope you get revenge. I was betting with seattle and still having a hard time stomaching this one.

Where can I find stats on Targets/ Catches?

I know they showed the stat later in the game on Sherman, 1 target, 1 catch, 6 yards. I don't think he was targeted since.

I mainly want to see how many times Simon was targeted and how many yards he gave up. I'm pretty sure his number of Targets = number of Catches, minus his one pass deflection in the end zone (which was a nice play).
Dude is beyond horrible. When Lane went down, that was HUGE.

I can't see him deserving of any job in the nfl above practice team level. This sting will stay for a loooong time. But if we get the news that Bevell is gone, that would really help . Please get rid of his *** and lose his number. :x :x :x

We all know that play should've never been called. But if Russ hit Lockette on his inside shoulder, it would've been a td. Still. Never should've been called. Still in disbelief.

For real if someone can find the Targets stats, i'd appreciate it. Curious on Maxwell to a lesser extent.

Niner fan here not coming to torment anybody.

But I was wondering do you guys think Pete Carroll was desperately tryin to make sure Russ got the MVP over Marshawn? Last year I felt the same way when yall were still throwing the ball up 20+ points in the super bowl.

Upset about the play call, but Russ has to make a better throw there. Let Lockette use his body as a shield for the ball. Bad efforts all around on that final play. Horrific way to lose....

Maybe, but at the same time, Bevell been doing this cute **** for a long time now. Hawks fans been complaining about him since forever and wanted him gone since forever. That's why dudes were praying he would get hired as a HC.

Bevell made the call (he admitted it), Pete & Tom Cable went with it, which is a mistake on their part as well.

I get you like to troll Hawks fans and Russell..I get it, understandable

but tell me this is a bad read?

be honest with yourself
I like what another poster from another board said on the read:

Don't get fooled by the open space, the Pats knew what was coming (as they stated afterward, they knew what the play was going to be because of formation). Some of the space you see is distance Lockette is behind the line of scrimmage, and the pass was delivered to a spot that wasn't across the line of scrimmage.

Ultimately, what that screenshot shows is that the ball should have been halfway there already. which would not have guaranteed a touchdown either.
BB & Butler played it perfectly....because they knew exactly what was coming.

Why........why.....

Why didn't they run the ball?.........he's marshawn lynch.......that was his moment

This one is gonna hurt for a while but I have no doubt this team is gonna be back in the mix to get back next year.

Marshawn Lynch, in 7 seasons, is now in the top 10 for rushing yards & TDs in the playoff history. Everyone else on that list, except Terrell Davis, has played 10+ seasons.

#ExtendBeastmode

They simply didn't execute.  They turned it over.  Play calling shouldn't really matter.  Butler aced the SATs.

if not run why not play action?? why do a quick slant?!!?! if you're gonna throw the damn ball choose something where there's NO CHANCE of turning the ball over.

true

if its truly a "throwaway" play

get Russell on the outside, where he can throw a ball out of bounds if no one was open

yeah, at least some play where wilson can read the coverage longer instead of basically a catch and throw. if you throw to a receiver you have to be 100% sure it doesn't touch the hands of the patriots dbs.

1000

Saw this posted if Pete had been MJ's coach. Oh well, sucks we lost. But hey, at least were not 49er fans.

The one time they finally have numbers for the screen they love to run and nope. I still don't understand. Not one person in the world thinks they stop Marshawn. Not one, not even anyone who wears a jersey for the Patriots organization.

Losing Lane and Cliff was big this game

it also shows what the team has gone through all year and they still made it this far..and were only a play away from another one

proud of this squad

Horrible call. This lost hurt and I'm not even a Seahawks fan.
