SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

No doubt, Unger will be missed, and even injured was our best guy on the Line, even with his fall off these past two years.

Hopefully..this draft is OL heavy..still have a tom of picks to work with...but the line is depleted as of now

I cant believe Bruce really posted that

I hope this doesnt beceome an issue  :smh:

Hawkblogger:
This trade speaks volumes about Tom Cable's confidence in Patrick Lewis. They showed signs of liking him. Didn't know it was this much.

Just speculation, but Brian Billick said that he's hearing Wilson getting 120m guaranteed on NFLN

I really like this. Unger was always hurt and Jimmy is the jump ball player we need. We all saw how much RW loves throwing deep when he has the guy he trusts

Damn, although we obviously gave up a bit for Graham...the pay scale isn't too bad.

Hawks paying 9m/yr for Graham while the 49ers paying 8m/yr for Torrey Smith.

Hawks should just sign Chris Myers to to replace Unger. Still a good player, and as long as he doesn't have to take on guys the size of mack trucks, he should be fine

It better be the most complete and thorough physical ever done, and he BETTER pass it!

My emotions and heart would not be able to take it if otherwise.

So happy to acquire Jimmy! Hated dude up until today  I'm really happy about the move though, O line should be a big focus in the draft. Carroll and Shcneider :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Jimmy is glad the only dude that can hurt him in game is on his team. Word to Kam.

This paragraph from Sando has me nodding my head:

Starved for an elite target: For many years, receiver Steve Largent was the only longtime Seattle player enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the team has struggled finding game-changing pass-catchers since Largent retired. It's therefore fitting that the two most painful interceptions in team history came on plays when Seattle quarterbacks were targeting special-teams gunners with playoff games on the line (Alex Bannister at Green Bay in early 2004, and Ricardo Lockette in the Super Bowl last month).

That GB playoff game still makes me cringe. We've never faired well with big name receivers. I thought Joey Galloway back in the 90's was going to establish himself as a star in Seattle, but look where that went. Deion Branch, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, all names that never made the impact they were hoping for.

I liked Joey Galloway, another disappointment was Darrell Jackson he was good but nothing special. Also Peter Warrick great college career bust in NFL.
