SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

6'2, 206 lbs, high SPARQ...typical Hawks DB/CB.

Hawks always trading with DET or MIN.

In other news...

DAVIS HSU@DavisHsuSeattle

rumor is over half the NFL tampered to talk to JS in some form or fashion this past offseason- the MOST in demand GM in the NFL.
 DAVIS HSU@DavisHsuSeattle
i would imagine NFL owners tamper with JS via messengers and try to lure him with offers of MONEY and ABSOLUTE POWER (you dont need Pete)
If true, I want retribution.

The only team i fear taking John is GB.

The only job that would lure him away is Green Bay. I don't know what GB's status is right now on the GM front. Good thing they're a well run organization, too (outside of letting McCarthy coach, obviously).

Ted re-upped not too long ago as GM so the spot isnt open for some time unless he randomly retires

Schneider isn't going anywhere anytime soon
When do yall ever see GM's move in the middle of a crazy successful run

Keep your eyes on the LA situation! His wife is from there and we all know Pete would love to end his career in LA. Hopefully they love us in Seattle enough to leave some staff!

So glad he's sticking around.

And I love the Seisay pickup too. This was more the route I thought they would be going to restock the LOB.

Hearing Marsh has been balling early.

Also reading he could be moved to OLB in some packages ala Irvin

I honestly don't understand Kams hold out minimum reward. Crazy high risk. Plus he got his money it was just majority through signing bonus

They ended up not fining Lynch for the holdout last year. I wonder if they'll do the same with Kam.

I would think if he came back now they wouldn't but if this goes for a few weeks I don't see why they wouldn't fine him

The situations aren't comparable because Kam doesn't have nearly as much roster bonus money that they can convert into guaranteed money. Lynch had $3 million to work with, Kam has $325,000.

I know that doesn't address reimbursing the fines, but I'm just saying the situations are going to play out differently because of that.

Does that mean Kam would need more added to his deal? I was under the impression he just wanted more guaranteed.

Kam not getting adjusted or a new contract. Doubt he'll actually receive the fine either and he probably knows that.
“We all love Kam. He’s a phenomenal football player, obviously a key core player in what we’re doing here defensively,” Schneider said. “We all miss him. It’s a bummer for everybody involved in the situation.

“It’s personal because you love a guy so much and you have so much emotional and personal feelings for the player. At the end of the day, you have to stick to your plan and your principle. That’s what has to guide you rather than (personal feelings).

“It’s about the team. It’s the ultimate team sport,” Schneider continued. “In order for us to be a consistent championship-caliber team that we’ve been preaching ever since we got here, we have to continue to conduct business the way we always have.”

Anthony McCoy injured twice already in 5 days of TC.
Stephen Cohen @scohenPI

TE Anthony McCoy getting attended to on the sidelines. Left on cart. #Seahawks
Stephen Cohen @scohenPI

Won't speculate on McCoy, but I will say I didn't see any obvious signs of specific injury. #Seahawks
Most likely goona be Graham, Willson and Helfet at TE but that's not a surprise.
