:frown:

I read today that Kam's mom only met his dad ONE time.

Not a good look on either part

Seahawks have only won once in Lambeau :x :smh: :frown:

But GB's game against CHI didn't look too great, so there's that positive.

I'm giving up on Kam playing anytime soon (not giving up on him as a Seahawk) so it's really time for Dion to be the next man up, as so many others for this squad have done already.

Lets get it!

We'll be stealing one if we win on Monday without Kam. I have no expectations so I'm looking forward.

That said.... GB has a soft defense and I think we might see something real out of our new offensive pieces.

“I'm glad we have passionate fans,” he told reporters on Wednesday, via PFT. “The 12s are very passionate and that's what we want. We want those people that are passionate about our team and supporting us. It comes with the territory. I played quarterback, and you know that guy's going to get more credit than he deserves, and more people are going to be on him when you don't win. It's the same as what I'm doing. I'm totally confident in what I'm doing. I'm totally confident that I'm getting our team in the best position to win, and I'm glad she's passionate about us.”

Coach Pete Carroll agreed.

“I haven't seen the actual comments but mom looking out after her kid, there ain't nothing wrong with that,” he said. “There's a lot of passion with our following and the 12s, and with the family members and all. Think where media is today. It's kind of your guys' world, but anyways. It's just something that I'm sure she has strong feelings, and I don't blame her for having strong feelings, she's a mom.”

I see where Sherm is coming from though.

He was responding to the fact that there was that crazy article/comment that was said to be written by him.

Its hard to disagree with either of them. Its two different ways of critically thinking about the same thing.

its refreshing to see two very prominent and popular athletes use their position to talk about and even debate such things all while reaching a large audience.

It is refreshing and I'm glad they're using their forum to speak on this.

I just roll my eyes when folks start saying what about black on black crime

Yes we need to do better in our own communities but that should not be mutually exclusive to the police brutality/murder of the citizens of this country...especially black men.

and #alllivesmatter is a farce. When a white kid was gunned down by police for having some weed, that crowd didnt say a word...no outrage whatsoever (when there should have been if all lives really matter)

It just sets off the notion that if two kids in Chicago stop shooting each other than a  cop in South Carolina will take further precautions to not shoot an elderly black men in the back?

Sherm has his opinion and there's some valid points he has...but that one in particular will always irk me

I'd rep if I can. You are right, and theres facts and numbers that trump the black on black violence notion.

Though, I think that Sherm does indeed understand the theme behind the social commentary of the BLM movement, but was just speaking literally. The fact that his name was tied to that comment/article and killing cops and "KKKrackers" just meant that he had to address that part of it.

Yeah I get he had to address it. I did not know about the article myself until he spoke up

It's just a bait and switch tactic, because anyone who's had any involvement in urban community politics knows that black-on-black crime is an issue that's talked about all the time.  It has nothing to do with the murder and abuse of people by police officers.

Other than those two dumb defensive penalties that extended those GB drives, Seattle D has held ok. Finally starting to get into Rodgers face.
