I just saw that too. If that thing was priced right it'd be a hit.
499 isn't going to cut it. The average consumer isn't going to pick that over an ipad at the same price point...I think it's the same price?

Yeah it's the same price as the 16gb ipad 3.
Microsoft spend all this time advertising the touch covers and they don't even include it with th $500 model. It's like they've learned nothing from the $500 android tablets that have flopped. And if the ipad mini does get announced next week they can forget about selling anything to anyone other than diehard Microsoft fan boys. I still think the base model surface should of been $300 w/ 16gb of storage

It's a standalone game that will be released next year.
As of now you'll need an internet connection to play due to the always online drm they insist on using.

Anybody play Guild Wars 2? Bought the game after I built my new PC and am pleasantly surprised in how fun it is. Very relaxing and rewarding, at least so far. Haven't done any WvWvW or PvP.

Nice setup, man.
Definitely want a 3-monitor setup for sim racing, but other than that, it really isn't practical. 
Oh well.

liked it for the most part, sorta hate the leveling system & the increase of monsters once you hit level 30

finally got a chance to play with windows 8 rtm
felt a lot more polished than the release preview
still not upgrading my current machines but i feel a little less worried about having to use it if i purchase a laptop next year

Thanks, but is there any other media players you recommend that also has a Android app? I already tried winamp, but I'm not a fan.

although if you're using 4.0 or higher i'd suggest trying the walkman player & mediamonkey for sycning

Also have a G27 as well. I play with a 23" monitor / sometimes my 32" TV

My sim rig's currently undergoing another mod to solve some fitment issues and better ButtKicker support. Trying out some stuff.
Besides DIRT3, what other racing games/sims are you into?
EDIT: upon closer inspection... is the monitor stand clamped onto the table?

I play f1 2012 as well. Sometime Driver and NFS Shift 2 unleashed.
Yes its a clamp. I got it for a steal. Many companies charging upwards of 250-300 for a 3 monitor mount. I found this one 100 shipped. I took chances with the quality since its not a big name company and because of the price and man how I lucked out. The quality of this mount is amazing. I was about to pay for a XFX triple monitor mount. check out www.easymountlcd.com

Good looks. Yeah, I've seen the XFX mount and it is really pricey. Won't consider going 3 monitors until IPS display (using a Dell UH2312HM) prices are cut in half. Lol.
EDIT: Saw a free-standing triple monitor mount on that site. http://shop.easymountlcd.com/Deluxe...-Free-Standing-up-to-28-002-0020-002-0020.htm $86 isn't bad, but it weighs 31lbs. That's going to be expensive to ship over here. :x
The sim rig I designed and helped build at our office. It's in it's fourth revision so far. The chair is a brand-new Thai bootleg Recaro Profi SPG that I just bought from a local guy who owns a gas station over here for about $200.
Only built one since I found the Playseat too expensive, and not worth the quality you're getting. I'd say I gone a little overboard since then.

kinda want to try windows 8 to see if i should buy that for my future build. either that or stick to 7. don't know where to try it until it comes out nor do i have a computer to try it with

Actually, you need to bolt-on your hardware to a sturdy platform. PlaySeats are the most basic ones. A little pricey though. Amazon product ASIN B003A4IFXM

Prices can only go up from there, unless you go the DIY route.
Going to hold off Windows 8 for a while. I have no real issues with Windows 7, anyway.
