Official PC thread.

I'm totally out the loop on this stuff. Appreciate the info bro. I think I'm gonna use the rest of this year to save up and use the some of that tax return to build my rig. That'll give me time to continue researching.

The ordeal is over.

SMH

Sitting here on my computer running off integrated graphics with a 1070 slotted.

"Nvidia graphics driver update is not compatible with this version of Windows."

Windows 10 64-bit graphic drivers being installed on Windows 10 64-bit.

Highly annoyed. **** Nvidia.

The power supply came early.

Decided to build at night.

The assembly was headache-inducing at some parts.

I definately see why some would rather get a pre-built, regardless of the savings.

post pics of da monitor and keyboard but not of da rig he got da headache over :smh:

and those driver issues sound more like windows 10 driver compatibility nonsense than nvidia problems.

Smh... Figuring it's because I never got the fall upgrade to Windows 10 last year and my computer still isn't seeing it.

Media Creation Tool tells me it can't do anything with my version of windows.

Bruh..............

Not with that folding table

Need a new laptop for college, debating between a XPS 13 and a MBP, leaning towards the XPS, but anyone have any experience with it?

The MBP is great. I had one, and it lasted me all through college. They may have an update coming up soon though, so I would hold out if you can wait. Right now I have an XPS 15. Excellent laptop with great build quality. I want to downsize a bit myself and hoping to get an XPS 13.

Can't go wrong with either imo. That XPS 13 screen though :smokin

Fair enough, never had any issues with office, it is a bit different from the windows version.

I want to pull the trigger on this 1070 but I'm not sure if my CPU will bottleneck it :/ Running an i7 930 oc'd to 3.8 ghz. Served me faithfully these past 6 years.
