New nike elite basketball socks?!?!

Was checkin out ebay on elite socks and these came up. Could these be the new nike elite socks coming out this year???

those remind of the the lesser versions of the elites but i think it would be good for them to add some traction patterns on the socks

i dont think so either and this could have been put in the Nike Elite basketball thread.
 
the big question is why would people pay 40.00 for some socks that are going to be available everywhere or at least on NDC

not quite, doesnt look like the VTech unis had the orange triangle on the back of the socks

^^^ Yea but if you look at that auction inside the cuff you can read the word "PROSIM"....If you look on the back of the VTech helmets and waistbands it says ' UT PROSIM" which is the motto of Virginai Tech University. I bet if we saw the rest of the inside of those socks there would be a UT. And the colors match up too  

Edit- Actually the auction says UT PROSIM. And you can make out a little of the letter T

I noticed the prosim in Auction picture and in the uniform picture i posted.

i meant the orange triangle on the Auction pair isnt on the uniform pair.

so maybe these are for the basketball team...

we'll see. hopefully we get these for several other schools
