NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

That may be what it is, I cant say I familiar enough with flavors to discern diacetyl but a google search mentions it is a buttery flavor. Most of the Grimm IPA's seem creamy, as if it replaces the carbonation. Its funny they were condescending, I almost expect that from an "artisanal" brewery.

I hope Future Perfect is better than Subliminal Message, that was a miss IMO. Telekinesis and Super Spruce got me interested in the low ABV Grimm

Had a bottle of Great Lakes Blackout Stout that was aged for 7 months. It was amazing compared to when i had it fresh. Gonna crack open the last bottle at the 1 year mark.

I had a RIS that was aged 15 years

Great atmosphere

It was brewed when the local brewpub owners son was born

They tapped some when he was five, ten, and fifteen...on his birthday

Here's a pic of a fifteen year old pouring a glass with the hand pump

I think they did have pics of him doing it when he was five and ten but they removed those photos from Facebook

^ putting in work!

Sipping on this tonight. Not getting much coffee but definitely getting some sweetness from the vanilla.

Spontaneously booked flights, a hotel and tickets for Riot Fest in Chicago. Didn't realize I'm staying 40 min away from 3floyds. I'm going to head down the first night and grabbing growlers and bottles for the weekend. Any bars or bottle shops around Douglas Park? I know Lagunitas is very close but I've heard the area doesn't have a lot to offer.

You'd be within 10-15 minutes driving of one of the goose island locations and one of the revolution brewing locations.

Starting June off correctly.  Still have a few of these left:

The hierarchy remains, though: All Green>All Citra>All Orange>>>All Dank.
