Speaking of Black and Tans, anyone try Evil Twin Yin and Yang?

Also, finally had the Rochefort 10.

This is hands down in the top 10 beers I have ever had. I would buy it every time I see it, it was that good to me.

yes, there are plenty of non-hoppy one-off styles that will interest you. i got mine for $25; if that's what you can get it for, go for it. imo, $30 is too much.

What a position to be in. Sn celebration around me will release soon. But sit on that stock until February. Its quite malty and hoppy fresh. I guess i can overlook the snow graphics in 60 plus degree weather.

Jbug88,wookey is quite nice. Not sure how the fresh variety tastes but this balance is nearly perfect. I catch an underlying almost bourbon like stout taste initially. Then the hops come in. Lighter mouthfeel with the rye. Abv non existent.

Off topic a touch. A Local sausage specialty shop made up some hopwurst. Marinated in some local ipa. Its a typical pork sausage with a slight hint of flowers and pine in the very aftertaste. Instead of adding real flower spices, this ipa uses thr beers flavor to its advantage

90 minute ipa. lots of malts up front, then you get the piney bitterness with citrus notes at the end. not my favorite, but it's solid.

Hop Stoopid ages terribly man. Im so disappointed. Just a week off from a few prior bomber purchases and drinks of it, I open my last bomber, just 46 days from bottling, and it has that weird murky hop smell. Mouthfeel hasnt changed., That still solid. but all hopes of any hops is GONE... That leaves me depressed. I may only drink fresh within 30 day local IPAs and nothing else from now on. I'm heated. Why spend money on anything seemingly worthwhile or at a higher perceived "value". Maybe I go to vodka or miller lite.. Damn!
