NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

6-4 about 230 before... 6-4 about 280 now.. I wouldnt call myself crazy obese. Waist size is a 40. but yes, I look at myself as a young randy moss wanna be had I never found good beer. Looking at estimated calories of the real good beers,, 300 calories in a standard 12 oz pour. It does translate over nicely in regards to lower ABV. If you want that buzz, you have to go more volume or higher ABV. There is no way around it.. The only alternative if you are that sort of drunk is to go with gin and tonics, or diet coke and rum type mixed drinks. Those are the classi "im a drunk but want to stay sorta thin" drinks. I choose some exercise, and some beer

Came across some Ballast Point "Sculpin" on draft yesterday. They were tapped out shortly after. Really good stuff...

400

So my gfs co worker hooked us up with a bottle of this. Freakin excited to open it.

^ ISO stuff animal . Nice pickup man. I've been meaning to crack open my bottle of BT but at 19% ABV it's tough especially since none of my friends are really into craft. Anyone know if those wine stoppers work?

I've found a lot of my non-beer drinking friends who detest IPAs like Sculpin. One of the first IPAs I actually enjoyed too, and still one of my favorites.

Are you talking about those vacuum stoppers? Because those are a great way to remove all carbonation from your beer. Although, thinking about it, BT probably doesn't have much carbonation anyway.

I have a bottle capper that I use to recap bombers I don't want to finish. Not ideal, but at least there's still some bubbly left the next day.

Absolutely not

If you have a bottle capper shown above that works...or a cork tat you can squeeze in would work

I hear you. Ballast Point makes some pretty good beer. The Electric Ray they created with Sierra Nevada was my favorite out of the Beer Camp pack.

The bruery sells thier own bottle stoppers designed specifically for all thier 750ml bottles. I've never used one but my friend whose a hoarder swears it keeps your beer for a few days. They're like 5 bucks at the bruery.

Anyone happen to be a member of the beer of the month club from amazingclubs.com?

My sister got me a 6 month membership there for Xmas. They ship 12 beers, 4 of each kind the last week of each month. This will be my first month. Just looking for any feedback as the reviews on that site are fantastic.

My bad, I meant bottle stopper. Definitely don't want to lose any carbonation.

I went super OD with that TW sale. I'm set for a while I think.
-case of elevated ipa
-sixer of SN nooner pilsner. Very solid pilsner right here
-sixer of lagunitas brown shugga. 10%er sold in six packs for less than $9. Mind blown on a math abv front
-single of SN hoppy lager
-single of magic hat single chair

Today I tool a unplanned trip to Marble. Tonight will be fun, fun, fun.

is there any way to trade beers with people from different states? Idk if its illegal to ship...
What the shipping carrier doesn't know won't hurt them. Wally and CFord have gotten antique Christmas ornaments and a lava lamp from me, respectively.
Pack everything up well and throw a fragile sticker on the box.

To add to that, make sure you never ship USPS as it is against federal law to ship alcohol. For UPS or FedEx, it's against policy and the worst that could happen is a slap on the wrist.
