No disrespect and I don't even know how it's possible but Paul George RIGHT NOW being better than Tracy McGrady ever was is quite literally one of most stupid things I've ever read on this message board.

What has Paul George done to warrant his own thread?

The boy's thirst is real...

Whether its the thirst to be great or for them yam s it is yet to be seen

The TMac talk was silly, but to say PG isn't the real deal is foolish. The dude is 20 yrs old 6-9 and plays the 2 and 3. He locks fools up, ask #7 for the Knicks and only scratching the surface of what his O can really be and he already avg 18. Granger is trade bait now, it's PG team. He's in my top 5 of favorite players to watch.

Paul George has all the potential to be a less athletic Kevin Durant type player. I see him averaging 26 ppg somewhere in his career.

This guy has the potential and talent but I don't see the superstar mentality. Maybe it's just him being young but there's stretches where he just disappears and you forget he's on the court. If only he had Stephenson's mentality of forcing the issue every time..

You wrong bruh. He was born on May second 1990. Making him 23.
Anyway players like PG rarely get the props they deserve cause they dont care about scoring 30 every night, and focus more on defense. Best case scenario he'll be like Pippen. Which aint bad.
He cant be looked in the same realm as superstars like Lebron, Kobe, Durant but he can be a very useful 10 time allstar.

Random but I did a fantasy draft in my 2K13 Association and paired up KD and Paul George on my team. That would be a sick combo in real life.

What I like most about his game is that he's still young & he's still getting better. He's already a very good all around player who can defend & who can put up good numbers offensively at this point in time. However, he's still got time to improve his game & get even better.

I agree that one aspect of his game that he needs to improve is that he fades out of games sometimes & goes quiet... If he's gonna be looked at as a star player to build a team around he's gonna have to be that go to guy all the time. Again, there's still time for him to improve on that & I think his experience this post season will help that. Further along down the road though, I can see him putting up scoring #'s in the mid 20's & being that go to guy people expect him to be.

Huh. Athleticism and handle is the only thing that Paul George has over Kd at this point. If he develops a mid range game with a consistent jump shot,  I can easily see PG being a top 5 player in the league.

It's going to suck when he follows the career path of Iguodala instead of Pippen/McGrady/Durant.
