The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

I've never rewatched a whole series. Would consider it for shows I finished years ago and don't remember like Rome, Deadwood, Battlestar Galactica.

Dev and the kid courtside at the Knicks game  .

I'm enjoying MoN so far, 4 episodes in.

+1 on master of none

show made me feel normal. had a lot of stuff that goes through my mind.

Rachel grew on me and now i have a crush on her lol

Also, like every other asian/indian/ethnic, Parents episode got me

the dad is hilarious. Q-cumber

Yeah Master of None is pure genius.

Aziz did it again, son does NOT MISS.

And still manages to be underrated. :smh:

I wanna give the show a shot but dude is not funny at all to me. Like never even cracked a smirk.

I'd say give it a shot anyway, I don't think you have to be a huge fan of Aziz to like the show.. despite him being the star in it

This show will definitely give Aziz a lot more respect. He was likable on Parks and Rec, his stand-up showed promise, and his book was well-received.. but this was a big win for him.

I actually dont like him much. His standup is blah and predictable. But IMO this show just worked well. He didnt too much of his whiney stuff. Its there but not as much as i expected when i first started. But again its all subjective. I relate to the show too so that helped.

Also eric wareheim is in it. At first i thought wow, he must be selling out, cause their comedy types are so different. But apparently their actually good friends in real life.

Give 2 to 3 eps a chance.

I was pulled in after finishing the Parents (2nd) episode.

It's also a pretty quick watch. Each episode is 25 minutes, total of 10 episodes. I also feel no scene was wasted, so it doesn't drag.

That master of none is funny as hell, none of the episodes relate to the previous one, then he gets a girl and all of a sudden its basically them too for a few episodes.

Whats a good gangster/crime movie to watch. Ive seen most of the known ones

I dont know if its still on Netflix i know it was but Jamsey boy was pretty dope/accirate to being somewhat based on true events/person

Anybody seen Jamsey Boy? Thoughts?

I watch The Wire series all the way through about twice a year.

Just watched on Netflix:
Master of None
Stung
Blue Caprice

Always happy to hear other come around to Friday Night Lights. Female Co-Worker told me she started watching it and is in love.

Has anyone REWATCHED an entire series over?

The Wire-3x's
The West Wing-4x's
Spartacus-3x's
Deadwood-5-6x's
Breaking Bad-2x's
GoT-2x's

Damn. Is the West Wing that good?

Was thinking of giving it a try since I need a new show to watch.
For me, top 10 shows that ended (in no order):

- The Wire

- BB

- Sopranos

- West Wing

- Twin Peaks

- Law and Order (OG)

- Oz

- The Practice

- X-Files

- Twilight Zone (OG)

People sleep on the og twilight zone. Some of the greatest TV ever in my opinion.

I need to find and rewatch the Practice. That show really had me thinking about law school at one point.
