I love the Seatlle setting, the rain, the concept, but damn...the acting is cringeworthy at times. I guess I'll stick it out to be pissed off at the end

Bad acting?

Man I missed all of those scenes.
Joel Kinneman killed his role, and you have, have to be talking about him.

Yea, bad acting, nah man

Yeah I never thought The Killing had bad acting. Quite the opposite actually. I think at times it got redundant, but the main gripes I hear about are the continual red herrings almost every episode, the S1 finale and that it took 2 full seasons to reveal the killer.

S3 was pretty good although the ending felt cheap, yet again. And S4, while short, was entertaining. Honestly, I think most people who complain about the show stopped watching during S2 b/c they were still tight about S1's "twist". I admit I was kinda tight too.

Yeah, that's when I stopped. The first season also had like no like-able characters. I hated the characters, especially the redhead cop's scumbag son. Wanted him to die.

I'm used to HBO dramas, so yes, it's pretty awful in comparison.

Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are decent, but not very believable as homicide detectives. The chemistry is there, but not as police. Their Lieutenant is even worse.

Starting up this Making a Murderer series. I wonder how Netlfix plans to do this show. Following different cases over different seasons, or all about Avery.

I'm 5 episodes into Making A Murderer and this is the damnedest thing I've ever seen.

It's 3 am and think I may need to finish this whole thing now.

I'm a sucker for murder mysteries so I need to set aside 10 hours because I know I'll end up binge watching this :nerd:

Yo this in incredible. All of the public officials they taped and all the people on the stand just seem to be shady as hall. I'm on E6 right now and got damnit I'm just convinced they were out to get this guy. :smh:

This Making A Murderer story is absolutely mind-boggling. Like I'm sitting here yelling out loud at my TV b/c of the blatantly underhanded tactics those cops/investigators used. And the clincher is that IT'S ALL ON TAPE!

When the investigator specifically instructed Brendan to draw pictures of the crime and crime scene, I had to get up walk around for a minute before I freaked out lol. How are these people not being held accountable for this ****?!??!?!!!

All in all, Brendan didn't stand a chance. Such an easy mark.

I feel the same way, I can't even believe this is real, man.

It's so damn obvious what was going on, I don't get how they pulled this off, TWICE.

^ It's insane isn't it? And the story just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Just finished episode 4 and the ending of it made my jaw drop. :wow: :wow:

These cops gave not a single damn or a ****. Savages.

Yea, it's ridiculous.

I had to shut it off halfway thru the 3rd episode because it was a little too much for me.

It actually hurts my head knowing they pulled this **** off.

If i ever see brendan's lawyer in real life i'll prolly swing on that smug bastard. He literally gave no damns whatsoever about him.
