The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

I like their format. Has you wanting more unlike most American shows that have 24 episodes a season and have a lot of filler and breaking up seasons in 2 parts with long breaks inbetween.

Soeaking of Peaky Blinders, been waiting for that to come back. The Fall as well.

Watching American Horror Story and it's probably the 2nd most ****** up television show I've ever seen, only behind Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.

Is the AT&T commercial girl in this?

Edit: YES that is her

I'll keep tabs on this one

Just saw The Propaganda Game. Crazy to actually see how brainwashed the people of North Korea are in High Definition. North Korea pretending they tolerate Christianity with a fake mass. Such a Trippy part of the world.

I'm really looking forward to Chelsea does drugs.

That doc was wild. Thanks for suggesting

Top Boy was dope
Support Your Local Drug Dealer - Couldn't help but root for Dushane.

dushane was an ok guy for his line of business, sully was an ultimate scumbag though. Hated that dude. That lawyer girl was naive. She thought dushane could turn all the way legit and she could ride along with him while she tried to forget all the bad stuff he's done.

Also pregnant Heather was the goods. Would swim all up in that.

I just binged through Top Boy last night

Can't believe there's not a 3rd season. We need answers to a lot of questions b.

Poor little Michael at the end, kinda felt bad for him. I wonder how the Albanians found where Dushane lived.

Rhianna and Heather though :pimp: :pimp:

Would go raw in each

How did you guys find the language on it, as their is a lot of Cockney slang even me as an English dude finds hard to understand sometimes

Finised The Fall, it was okay. Kind of lost interest towards the last episodes. Probably won't watch the new season.

Just started Bloodline, pretty good so far. Always in for my boy Kyle Chandler.

After the first scene when they get robbed by Kamale I had to turn on the subtitles

But after that I didn't have a problem since it's similar to the slang in grime music. Now I find myself saying a lot of those words in an English accent.

"Bruv, mandems got food in the flats innit?"

I thought it was kinda cool. Never heard bruv or wagwan before. Surprised I never heard the n-word once. Wonder if it's only used in American hoods. Have no idea.

I've never watched that 50 shades of grey garbage but I just like to assume the main character in that is the same character and behaves the same way in The Fall. Main difference being the serial killer part and him having a helicopter makes women love him.

As a dude from Baltimore, I didn't have one problem trying to understand them . Thought the slang was obvious. I pick up on slang n stuff pretty quick though, and got an idea on how British street dudes talk a lil bit.

Tried to put my homeboys on....in like 2011 when it first came out, they cut it of instantly....talking bout...these London N's ain't even speaking English .

After 2 episodes I never wanted to hear innit again. So overused in their everyday conversations. I was watching a few episodes of Luther again and I think they were saying it too.

To be honest I rarely hear the N word in London. Even Peckham and Clapham etc etc I never hear it, although I don't stay in them parts too long.

I feel you. It was used in nearly every sentence at one point in the real life too. People have kinda cooled off from saying it as much these days thankfully.
