The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

Tried to stay away from this Thread bc Some of You Guys really don't care about dropping Spoilers all over the place, BUT:

I think "Making A Murderer" was AWESOME! Depressing... but Awesome.

Is there anything else on Netflix that's Similar? Crime/Mystery Documentaries (that aren't about the Mafia or Cartel)...?

Not on Netflix but The Staircase is very similar to Making a Murderer.

I watched it On Demand on the Sundance Channel (DirecTV).

Originally aired in 2004 so don't google it if you want to avoid "spoilers".

8 Episode Docu-series with 2 additional episodes several years after the case.
 
Watched all 3 "vhs" movies last weekend. Awesome gimmick. The first one is a must watch.


Also finished the "chelsea does" documentary series. Very witty and succinct but i dont think its for everyone. I really enjoyed it and hope it shes more.
 
Finally watching Master of None. Some of you guys with the bad reviews kept me from watching sooner. This show is great. Dunno what some Nters were expecting.

not really a fan of hers(never really watched her show or checked for her)

I really liked this though and how every topic was handled and she gave you a perspective from all angles, the racism one was great, especially the convos with sharpton. Really liked the drug one too, didn't know you could hire chefs like that to cook you great cuisines with weed in it like she and her friends did

Watching Chelsea Handler Does right now. Episode 3 about racism is hilarious because it exposes the stupidity and ignorance of some of the white people who are pro confederacy. As well as being extremely sad to see blatantly they try to brush it off.
 
just finished watching the 3rd season of Luther


noooooooo Ripley!!! this guy is the true meaning of loyalty

Glad that guy that was trying to bring down Luther was killed in the most brutal way. I just wanna know exactly who hired him to gather that info :nerd:
