The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

So I know its not on Netflix, but off the suggestions of numerous NTers I decided to give The Wire a try.

I'm two episodes deep and I feel like giving up on it. Should I stick with it? I feel like some of the dialogue is too wordy. And some of the scenes tend to be useless in my opinion. I think if the show was 30 minutes long as opposed to an hour it would be better... Anyways, should I keep watching? Does it get better?

I watched the first season of The Wire and thought it was ok. I started the second but i honestly couldn't get into it. Beginning of the second season felt like it dragged on longer than the first. I gave up on it. Show gets tons of hype which is why i decided to start it but i guess it just wasn't for me.

Definitely give it a few more episodes, it took me a couple to get into it also. Now I've seen all seasons and think it's the best show I've ever watched. It is kind of slow at times though so if you're still not feeling it by the end of the first season it might not be for you.
 
Thanks for the info guys. I'll give the show a few more episodes. Hell, I'm at work at its snowing out side. I have had two people in 4 hours walk through our doors lol.
 
Just watched Mac and Dev go to high school... :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: , the worst. I'm kind of mad netflix didn't put up any blaxploitation movies up in february, I've been in the mood to watch the mack, super fly and across 110th street. Anyone can recommend some comedies.
 
Man i slept on "its always sunny in Philadelphia", i've been watching this show lately and it is funny as hell...

i like shows like Seinfeld, curb your enthusiasm, Simpsons, family guy etc, so if you like those then this show is possibly for you. Forgot the season and ep number but watch "the D.E.N.N.I.S. system" episode... had me rolling.

Terrible, terrible movie. I don't even smoke and I really felt like that was a "you have to be high to enjoy this" movie.

Comedies to watch: Tommy Boy, Liar Liar, Trading Places, Tucker & Dale vs Evil, Phat Beach (kinda funny, but the poor editing makes it 5x funnier)

On the 4th episode of this and Spacey is killing it. I know every move he makes is part of a grand scheme but I have absolutely no clue what it is. I'm extremely excited to see how this series plays out.

One of my all time favorite movies is on the flix right now. Movie hits home on so many levels, i get all teary eyed every single time I watch it. The whole father son relationship story could have been written by me haha
 
What the hell is that site that let's you know what's new/upcoming/soon to be removed from Netflix, I had the site bookmarked in my old phone and forgot to move it over.......SMH @ me, somebody help a brotha out
