What's stopping a Cubs-Astros World Series?

the AL MVP is in right field tho...
We heard non stop Kris Bryant slurp from you for months thoughWell I support whatever your post entailed 651. Every God damn day we have to read Evan Gattis ate a salad today. Carlos Correa got a haircut. George Springer is up. George Springer is down. Springer back up again. Shut the hell up already.

(There is talk in Cub circles that Schwarber is thought of as an equal to Bryant, no joke)
Baez could easily be flipped, if Theo wants to. Not sure if he's there yet tho, because he has no reason to do so, yet.

The next Mark Reynolds, Richie Sexson, Matt LaPorta tho.

Baez on bereavment.
And Theo still needs another Ace to pick up this off-season.
Then Schwarber comes up next year.
We look to be on the 80-85 win path I was hopin for, next year, if we do land that second "Lester" to the rotation, I'll expect 95.

Outfield Bleachers. *shrugs* Need bigger crowds.
Then, the fun starts.

Bryant will face James Shields today, we'll see, but I know Theo isn't happy. He always wants the rooks to open on the road, away from the home fans/media/extra pressure so they can get a couple games under their belt.
That's why I had been sayin he would be up April 20th rather than the 17th, but Olt breaking his forearm forced their hand.
Note, his last at bat at Iowa was a 3 run homer. 9 in the Spring, and 3 in 4 games at Iowa.
If he isn't leading the league by May 1st, he's a bust.

Theo has done the same thing for each and every rookie, including Baez and Soler, Russell, etc. No one says a word.
But Bryant has everyone bloggin and writing articles online, and twitter fires, etc.

(Still wondering where they gonna put Russell/Castro/Baez).
Bryant in Left, one of them moves to Third?

Theo has transformed every damn thing we've ever done, in 3+ years. It's amazing.
Wrigley, to TV, rid the terrible deals, stocked the system, International work, Draft, Maddon, Bosio, and now he can start building. Just surreal right now. No Cub GM ever did half this ****.

Rizzo had a better Avg, more homers, better OBP, better SLG, better OPS, better OPS+, fewer DP's, more walks, more steals, more runs, a higher WAR, and did so in 45 less plate appearances.

Theo isn't going to overspend this summer, he's going to pluck a couple this year, and then another couple next offseason to complete the team.

As for the drinking, honestly, I'd probably be too busy crying. Building a Theo statue on my front lawn.
Wait.....how many of those are about Bryant, like he claimed?
@OrtizKicks: Correa walked in to the Golf Club of Houston for the Astros foundation golf tourney luncheon & they asked him if he was w/ the Astros.
The Astros bullpen right now
Happy birthday, Carlos Correa
Go Astros
See Springer, Gattis, Rasmus and more. It's a team epidemic
@brianmctaggart: Keuchel's line: 4 2/3 ip, 11 hits, 9 r, 9 er, 5 k's, 3 hrs, 91 pitches. In his biggest start of the year. Can't do anything but laugh
@CJNitkowski: Run differential in 2015...HOU +102, TEX -24. Since 8/15: HOU +20 (14-15) TEX +16 (20-10)
Springer drives me insane One of the first things you learn in little league is to watch the ball. You can't hit the ball, if you can't see the ball. Springer yanks his head off the ball way way way too often. Blows my mind how this has not been addressed
We used all our good karma early in the season We can't catch a damn break
The Astros need to pull this out in the worst way
Oh my god. Jed Lowrie. Astros score 5 runs on 5 straight hits with 2 outs in the 9th inning to take the lead over the Angels
@HOUGameday: 12th pitch of the at-bat, 112 mph exit velo, 469 ft. projected distance. Ladies and gents, Carlos Correa.
Conger was robbed at the wall twice in his first two ABs...Then finally got one over the fence on AB #3
Astros lose 3-2, on 3 unearned runs from a Kuechel error
Time for the Astros to strategically lose the division to avoid the Jays in the first round
@JuliaMoralesRS: Astros open series in Anaheim with their ace. Keuchel at home: 13-0, 1.49 ERA. On the road: 4-6, 3.35 ERA. lol what?
Pretty much Add in 04 Carlos Beltran with the Astros
Correa is swinging a 35/32
If I'm the Astros, I'm not sure I'd start Kazmir in a playoff game.
Hinch has cost us a few games by trying not to overtax the pen. There's no way to really know, but I'm curious what impact that has really had on our record.
This thread does feel like an Astros and Mets thread with a dash of Nationals
NFL thread is a perfect balance of teams
I'd say 95% of my posts have been in this thread, pretty much all Nats relatedWaits for my Mets posts to be brought up
