Angels getting everybody's A-Game lately. Gotta keep bringing their A+ Game and get these W's.

Wish my dad was into baseball.

Who will be pitching for the Mets?

Not even sure. If they clinch before then, they'll probably throw a position player out there  .

He's the Met fan in the family (grew up in Queens). I went the way of the pinstripes when I was younger.

Cool story - my dad snuck into Shea for the clinching game of the '69 World Series. Ran on the field when they won. When he got home, his mom asked where he was, he for some reason didn't tell her the truth. Turns out she somehow saw him on t.v. .
That's awesome

Let's go Braves!

quick Yogi story:

i was probably like 11-12 years old at the time & Yogi was signing autographs at the Steiner store in Roosevelt Field. to make a long story short, we finally get to the table where he is & my mom asks for a picture. the security guard said no but Yogi said "c'mon, let her take a picture." so she takes the picture & he goes "let me see it". my Mom shows him the picture & Yogi goes "I don't look good, take another one". she takes another one, shows him, & he says "that one's better. have a good night & go Yankees."

i was young but remember that moment vividly. Yogi will be definitely be missed |I

I would trade anyone in the Nats org (not named Harper) for Freddie Freeman.

Always respected his hitting prowess (especially vs the Nats).

One positive to look at. Only 12 more games of Ian Desmond in a Nationals uniform.

THANK THE LORD. For all the good he's done, this season has negated all of that in my mind. When the injuries piled up and the Nats needed him most he was arguably the worst player in baseball. See ya ******* later.

Papelbum beaning Manny :smh:
Better watch out for flying bats tomorrow. Harp is definitely getting beaned.
