Tough to depute he's the greatest, the gap is very wide.

To prove that Zdeno Chara isn't as good as what people make him out to be, you've cited players who were on teams in the early 1900's that you felt were better. You, of all people, saying "if you saw Babe, then fine" is the epitome of irony

The original statement was bonds is the greatest player that any of us have seen. I agreed with this.
I wasn't criticizing the idea of evaluating players who you haven't seen. We do that all the time.
Babe Ruth is pretty much unquestionably the greatest baseball player to ever live but the greatest player we I have ever seen is Bonds.
If you are going to critisize my line of logic you should try and understand the context of the original statement.
