On the radio here, they've talked about how a whole generation of kids has only known the Astros as an awful franchisei was 8 last time the Astros made the playoffs
I was lucky to grow up when we were good in 97, 98, 99
I remember by mom getting me out of elementary school early and everyone knew I was going to the playoff games

Pirates had the same thing with 2 years of badness, so many didn't know 90-92 (I'm sad to say I did know them). Finally got good again but there was a lost generation of baseball fans

Gamble on him getting a hit, possibly a HR, or gamble on him giving the Cubs 1 or 2 of the few and only hits due to his atrocious fielding, and costing them the game even if Cole throws shutout baseball, yea, no way I'd play him in a 1 game series unless to pinch hit late.
