I caught that last night.If the Jays win the division or make the playoffs, he's got to be it. Although, I wouldn't argue against Mike Trout (assuming the Angels do the same).

probably because he's 15th in WAR and his team is basically eliminated from the playoffs.
Trout, Donaldson, Machado and even Cain are having better all around seasons. Cruz is a great slugger but at the end of the day, the two most complete players are Trout and Donaldson and the former is winning yet another MVP.
