I would hate it if it happened but I can see a beltway series. O's might not have the rotation but they can make it a five inning game, cut it off and play the matchups.

The Royals are a real darkhorse team too.

I think we end up getting Angels/Nationals. It's a tough post season to pick.
 
Royals such a huge story here in KC...people have literally been waiting for this for 30 years...insane.

Chiefs are playing on MNF, Mizzou had a huge comeback win over the weekend, Charlie Weis fired at KU...Royals are DOMINATING sports talk radio after an extremely busy weekend/Monday...

Hoping KC comes out on top tomorrow. Wouldn't mind seeing them go on a run.

Though I'm still bitter over Angel Berroa beating out Hideki for ROY.

And NEVER count the Cards out in the post season. It's what they do
 
I could see us getting bounced in the NLDS. Still don't see the Cards getting past the Nats. We matchup well with the Cards. Reason I can see it go either way.

Outside of Greinke and Kershaw don't have much in terms of consistency. Kershaw can have a dominating game like last years NLCS game 2 and still lose.

At the end if he day all 5 teams have what it takes to make it. They are all somewhat hot. Think we'll get past the Cards, but like I said wouldn't be shocked if we get bounced.

Game 1 is going to suck balls. 3:37 start and it's expected to be triple digits. Sheesh.
 
My playoff predictions:

AL Wildcard game: Royals over A's

NL Wildcard game: Giants over Pirates


Division Series:

Angels over the Royals in 5

Tigers over the O's in 5

Dodgers over St. Louis in 5

Nationals over the Giants in 4



Championship Series:

Angels over the Tigers in 7

Dodgers over the Nationals in 5



World Series:

Dodgers over the Angels in 6

WSMVP: Adrian Gonzalez or Kershaw
 
Hoping for some teams to get in there that we haven't seen in a WS for awhile/ever...Nats, Pirates, Dodgers vs. Orioles, Royals or even Oakland.

My actual pick is Nationals vs. Royals

This postseason should be fun.

Really no clear cut lock to make it to the World Series from either league.
