How bout we make you a lifelong fan and take both of em? :nerd:

I think more and more he's pulling two, but prob not both those two. My guess is something like Lester/Shields.

Lester, Arrieta, Shields, Hendricks, #5 would elevate us pretty quick. Bryant in mid/late April, Russell mid year, possible C/OF upgrade somewhere in there, I think that's the path Theo's heading for.

Dark, dark horse, Hamels trade. Long(er) shot there tho.

Didn't they just re-sign Cocktail Collins?

they're happy with being stuck in mediocrity. Just like the Phillies refuse to rebuild.
I think Collins has 1 more year left on his contract.

The Phillies are starting to admit they need to rebuild now that Pat Gillick is temporarily in charge. Their problem is Howard's contract is atrocious and they'll get no one of value back for him even if they find a trade partner, and Utley and Rollins are refusing to waive their no-trade. Never understood why players would want to stay on a sinking ship. If the Cubs strikeout on Lester and Scherzer, I can see them going after Hamels in a trade. But that's only if Gillick does the negotiation instead of Amaro.

 you can have those two. I feel like Lester is the time bomb there. I've been such a big fan of Scherzer since he was toiling in AZ's system, I just wanna root for him again

Someone is going to give Shields $100 million though :x

Brady looks PS'd and he's only in San Fran gear cause it matches his Uggs more than Royals blue would  .

herrera done lost the strike zone

but seriously, yost shouldve pinched hit guthrie earlier and had a reliever in for this inn

watch giants take the lead this inn, that's what they do
