Apparently Edward Rogers (son of deceased former owner of the blue jays Ted Rogers) is behind this.

**** MY LIFE.

Ted Rogers didn't even like baseball when he was alive, WTF is his son doing meddling in things?

I wouldn't give up a real prospect for BILLY GOD DANM BEANE. But were gunna do it for Dan Duquette??!

I hate everything and everyone.

Join us in Chicago fam. Come watch Theo be great. We got a thread and everything.

I still don't understand how the Mets didn't do the math, and said "Something doesn't seem right here."

But being the Mets is a significant enough explanation for me

So Wilpon is paying Bonilla $30M instead of $6M, supposedly lost millions by dealing with Bernie Madoff, which led to him having to ask MLB for a loan. But yet MLB just named him chairman of MLB finance committee.

I'm surprised this is the first a lot of you are hearing about the Bonilla deferred contract.

:wow: Bobby B with the finesse move  turned 6 into 30 :smokin

Idea stolen from reddit:

What image captures the saddest moment in baseball for you?

I have a quarter century of history I can look through, so it'll take me a minute to find a good one.

Pat Neshek pitching less than 24 hours after his infant son passed. Losing the 2012 ALDS will never leave me.

Make it stop.

Most Yankee fans I know would say 2004 because of Boston but it's 2001 for me by far. After 9/11, sports didn't matter for a bit but that team just kinda lifted everyone up. And to win those two games in extras the way they did, you felt like it was destined to happen :smh: :frown:

This was the most somber game I've ever been to though. But, it will always have the greatest moment I think I'll ever witness live...and I've seen Jeter's 300th hit and the hit he passed Lou with recently
