For all the Cubs fans, I'm really happy for you guys. I figured Theo was the biggest signing for CHI in forever and he's done wonders for that organization. With Maddon coming in, and a combination of vets and young studs coming up from the farm, it's hard to root against the Cubbies. Here's to good baseball!

Be careful about counting them rings before they're on your fingers eg NATS thunder 2012 lakers, twin tower rockets , royals etc etc

i mean no one is crowning them just yet. but they're headed in the right direction. and they're one of the few teams i wouldn't mind seeing win. to be honest, the only team besides my own, obviously

I don't know if it's slurping, just appreciation for good baseball. They have young guys who have proven their worth and talent beyond ST. Bryant was raking all year in the minors last year, Theo has rings from Boston, and Maddon managed a cheap club to the World Series. Oh and Lester is no bum...

They're doing good things over there in North Side Chicago.

Yeah, cuz nothin been brewin the last 3 years. This is barely the beginning of their career's. Expectations haven't even truly begun yet.

Really sucks to see Candlestick being torn down slowly. The Memories with my Father who is no longer with us.
