Leavin work in a few minutes, should be home just before draft time. I'll be there.

And if you talk about wrestling in there, I'm ******* **** up.

Got a live draft online Sunday night.

Will take Saturday/Sunday afternoon to come up with a mock.

I hope the Cubs miss the playoffs by 1 or 2 games because of this whole K.Bryant thing. It'd be only fitting....:D

Yes, because making the playoffs in 2015 is more important than an entire year of Bryant's prime.

Try this:

Rizzo
Castro
Bryant
Baez
Soler
Russell
Schwarber
Almora
Alcantara
Hendricks
Arrieta
Lester

Are ALL under Cubs control thru 2020.

Not to mention Torres, Jimenez, Edwards, McKinney, the 9th pick in June, or Neil Ramirez.

**** those 12 games b. This is for the long haul, not two weeks in April. People gotta grasp that ****.

Nothing is guaranteed. Unlike other sports, a young team can win it all in baseball if they get hot at the right time. Who's to say the Cubs cant win it all this season?

I'm not hatin. Dont blame Cubs management. It's a stupid loophole to begin with. It'd just be funny if they got red hot in September and end up missing the playoffs by a couple games. :D

Means nothing. We aren't supposed to be in it this year anyway.

Everyone so focused on 12 games of Bryant, but Russell won't be up, Schwarber won't be, Theo still has room to add a #2 Starter either at the deadline or the off-season, and then he'll have room for one more big contract the following year.

This is the start, not the middle, not the end, just the start. The roster isn't even fully constructed yet. People are in such a rush to either crown them, or call them failures. The team isn't even fully assembled yet.

Next year, the pressure of expectations can begin. This year is about finalizing the core and stepping forward. Adding the #2, making the right pick on one final top 10 pick, and getting the rest of the young guys thru Triple A, into the majors.

All that means infinitely more than 12 April games.

Hope the cubs miss the playoffs by one game every season until 2020. Then I hope they lose everybody in free agency.

Cubs won't be as fun to watch if they start winning championships.
