He didnt even have a save opportunity to begin with at that...he had a 4 run lead for christ sake and still blew it

Man, Wright is hurt. I just hope the Mets don't rush Wright. Eric Campbell is a solid hitter. I think we will be fine. Hopefully Granderson goes on fire.


I never forgive Wilpons for not offering my all time third favorite Met player Reyes a contract.
 
^main reason i try to spend as little money as possible on the team. disgusts me that they let a franchise shortstop, a cornerstone of the organization, the soul of the team, just walk away without offering a contract. disgusts me.

i got my section to start up the old jose chants last night when we initially broke the game open :lol: miss those days man.
 
Even though I hate Wilpons, I still attend Mets games. :lol: I just want to be in the stands and cheer for my team.

Our front office has never been good. Beltran said they are the worst organization in his career. They bad-mouthed RA Dickey before his trade. They called Billy Wagner a wimp. :smh:
 
yeah the coupons are terrible.

I love my Mets though. of all sports teams I follow, I only love the mets. if and when the Mets win the WS my family is gonna have to pick me up out of a ditch, naked, covered in baby oil and ticker tapes, three days after the final game.
 
ownership are morons :lol: if and when we win a world series idk how i'd act. i'd probably blow all my money on hookers to celebrate or something ridiculous. i just wouldnt know what to do. i think that would be the championship of all my teams that would mean the most to me. all because of 06. being there game 7, being so close but coming up short was so heartbreaking.
 
I don't know what to do when the Mets win the WS. All I know is that I'll be very one happy man. Probably going to Atlantic City and getting drunk with my buddies.

I wanted to scream and blame it on Heilman, but he had been fantastic for us in the NLCS series. I love Beltran, but his infamous strikeout looking hurt so much. If Cliff Floyd didn't get hurt, I think we could have advanced to the WS. Fall 2007 and 2008 were such nightmare.



Angels may seek to terminate Josh Hamilton's contract. MLBPA protects Hamilton's job from Angels.
 
angels deserve to pay every penny. they knew the deal when offering that ridiculous deal. no one told them offer this guy this much money, this many years.
 
word.....angels wouldn't be doing this if he was productive. No way they'll be able to do this right?
