there's a time and a place: context. there's 0 reason for ventura to act a fool in a 2-2 game that he's doing well in. what happens if in that scrum hosmer tears his acl? or moustakas gets sucker punched and breaks his jaw? or someone breaks their hand? grow up and play baseball.

I don't get why you can trash talk and taunt in any other sport besides baseball. Its ridiculous. Ace is a competitor, he's saying to hell with all this unwritten rules crap and making his own lane. Gotta respect that

im a fan of the kid's talent but you can't respect someone that's starting 3 incidents in the first 15 games of the year.
 
It's not even an unwritten rule. It's called respecting the game but I guess the Royals have that passion that nobody else has :•+¥
 
Y'all must have forgot or didn't know he won a Gold Glove last year. Btw I truly can say Jarrod Dyson is the fastest runner in baseball. I bet he got a sub 4 forty. ROYALS WIN!!!!

Ventura definitely didn't instigate this brawl. Eaton was mouthing off as he made his way to 1st and Ventura responded. Not saying his cumulative behavior is acceptable but he wasn't the one starting **** tonight.

And I can understand why the Royals have been in the middle of all these scuffles. They've been hit by 16 pitches already (only Texas has more with 17) and teams have been trying to come at their neck so they're trying to show that they won't be punked.
 
With Ventura already facing a 5 game suspension, he needs to be suspended 15 games after what happened tonight.


Regardless of who did what, be the bigger man and just let it go.

You have to set an example that fighting is not ok. This isn't hockey.
 
Just saw he replay finally. Absolutely amzes me that aside from a recent post by Freddie Black, that you guys are all in agreement that Yordano was at faul.t. How?!? Eaton started it by barking at Yordano. The etire MlBTonight crew agrees with that too.

What am I missing? Yes, Yordano is a hot head and didnt help matters. But he certainly didnt start this.

And RealFolk....take the damn homer glasses off. He certainly didnt intigate a thing last week aganst the A's. Come on bro. You are better than that.

Lawrie has a wide slide, tries texting to apologize and reiterates his regret over what happened, and he earned getting target multiple times by the Royals? Lawrie did his part to de-escalate the matter, Yordano and the Royals weren't interested. Get the **** out of here. I'm sick of your constant high-horse attitude on this forum.
