I think the Marlins guy runs a huge law firm or he's a retired lawyer. I read a great article on him last year.

I know TB lost but I can't believe how well they're playing this season. No one saw this coming. Lost their coach and Price.

Mariners are a terrible team. Should start trading players. Maybe the Angels will take that Cano contract.

Watched some nerd stat guy on Baseball Tonight talk about how RBIs are a meaningless stat. Then started to talk about all kinds of new stats I've never even heard of. These nerds and mathematicians are annoying as hell.

Nice win to prevent the series loss. Now we need to sweep the Braves this weekend.

Can we get a new third baseman? I don't want to see Eric Campbell in the lineup again.
 
I don't want to say RBI is a meaningless stat, I mean, it's kind of important. But I get why it's an arbitrary stat and not the best measure for talent. I honestly can't look at just ERA anymore. I need to line up ERA with FIP, xFIP, FIP-, xFIP- and SIERA to see how legitimate things are and whether a team's defense is helping or hurting a pitcher.
 
Just taking the train past the Angels stadium in Anaheim and it is easily the ugliest professional sports stadium I have ever seen. Looks like it cost about $200.

I'm actually going to LA tonight and going to catch the A's in Anaheim tomorrow night. The stadium was cool last time I went, but those fans? :x Prob some of the worst I have ever seen. :lol:

I haven't actually, though I've heard.

Anaheim stadium definitely looked pretty terrible from the drive by.

It no where near as nice as Safeco but I wouldn't say it's a dump. :lol:

Why can't Pat Venditte just pitch with his left arm? Cmon man! :lol:
 
Is the LAAoA stadium still ugly from the outside even with the renovations? Or was exterior renovated as well?
 
Ian Desmond bobbles a double play that would've ended the inning and what do you know 2 runs score 2 batters later.
