Yikes, nevermind. Offense it is. I thought you guys were alright offensively until I bothered checking it up. I would have said pitching, but I didn't realize how solid you guys are there.

Though I'd still be hesitant to give up pitching prospects so fast. You still need to hold off the Giancarlo Stanton's of the world.

Sadly, we're not. We're getting absolutely no power from our OF, but the only guy we can move there is Span and moving him would mean Harper to CF and Zim to LF. I honestly don't know what Rizzo is gonna do about the offense, cause on paper the team should be at least average offensively...but we all know the game isn't played on paper.

Has he tried shaking up the lineup a few times? Managers need to send a message now and again. Melvin does it for us pretty consistently.

Don't worry, Nats will still win the division and represent the NL IMO.

Any interest in Zobrist instead of Tulo?

Nope. He's been trotting out the exact same lineup for awhile now. Keeps saying we'll get 'em tomorrow.

Personally, I'd go:

1. Werth
2. Harper
3. Rendon
4. LaRoche
5. Zimmerman
6. Ramos
7. Desmond
8. Span
9. P

Zobrist would be a great addition to the squad. Wouldn't cost as much either and could insert him into the leadoff spot as well.

Wainwright > Stras

but

Washington's 2-4 > St. Louis' 2-4
Waino's the best pitcher in baseball. Consistently.

Fister is the difference-maker for me.

Sounds homer-ish, but if it were anyone other than Felix I'd possibly second guess myself, but the King has been consistent for years now. Years.

Definitely agree with Fister though. We've always been on that page.

2012 Game 5 still haunts the Nats. I'd love for them to get the chance to face the Cards again in the postseason and take them down.

Its close I certainly think Fister could be # 2 And Zim #3

But as it stands Wainwright and Wacha have the edge as a 1-2 punch. I'd also give the edge to the Cards there staff (other than Wacha) has the postseason experience.

Meanwhile Rangers are 18 GB in the division.

Half of Jon Daniels' salary is going to scotch this season.

I think we can all agree that we don't have to be worried about the rangers anymore this season.

Wainwright still gets hit hard from time to time. Felix is def the most consistent. Followed by kershaw. IMO.
