I miss the days Neftali Feliz used to throw absolute gas in Texas, pre-UCL. It's not the same only seeing him touch low-to-mid 90's on the radar gun. Hoping he can transition to more of a finesse reliever.

Heard a report, uncertain how credible, Wash resigned because of a looming sexual assault case/charge. Potentially involving cocaine.

If so, Ron needs to get his **** together. It's sad that when he first resigned there were jokes about him not being able to lay off the coke. Sad part is it was probably true.

One of my favorite players in the league.

Altuve. :pimp:

I really hope that's not it. I have no love for anything Rangers but that's not something you wish on anyone to struggle with.

I prefer to see Seattle win the WC over Oakland and Detroit. Wouldn't be shocked if the Tigers missed the playoffs.

Know you'll hate this but some Mets fan will spin being 5.5 back of the wild card as Terry validating his 2015 job security. I tend to credit deGrom and Montero spinning brilliance on the mound.

I hope they do. Keep that franchise in the dark for another half a decade. Met fans are so ridiculous sometimes and they wonder why they are in the position they are in. Let them celebrate being 4 games under but 5.5 games out in that atrocious league as "progress".

I'm just so happy I gave the people something to cheer."

Ugly offense. They swept the Colorado series without scoring more than 3 runs in any individual game.

The poor A's.  Buster Olney was on the radio out here this morning and said "this is arguably the greatest collapse in the history of baseball."  I dont know if I agree....but it certainly is up there with the greatest collapses in my lifetime.  I hope they can turn it on and at least make the playoffs.

Greatest collapse ever? Nah. 2007 Mets. 7 game lead with 2 weeks to go. Unbelievable.
I am not saying I agree that it is THE single greatest collapse ever......but if you rewind time to a little more than a month ago, this team was easily the best team in the Major Leagues.  The 2007 Mets were not considered that at any point.
