After giving up back to back to back bombs, Jason Hammel was ejected after hitting the next batter with a breaking ball that got away from him. Somedays just aren't your day.

Carl Crawford also left today's game with a hamstring injury.

I was gonna ask earlier this week if any dodgers fans noticed this, but he looked extremely tight running. Dude looked like be was bound to pull something and sure enough be did.

- V. Martinez homered to deep right
- J. Peralta homered to deep left
- A. Avila homered to deep center
- M. Tuiasosopo hit by pitch
- A. Garcia singled to shallow right, M. Tuiasosopo to second
- O. Infante doubled to left, M. Tuiasosopo scored, A. Garcia to third
- A. Dirks walked
- M. Cabrera homered to deep left, A. Garcia, O. Infante and A. Dirks scored
Welp.

Forget the PEDs...

If you had to pick a better hitter between Manny and Miguel Cabrera, who would you go with?

What about Albert? I've been asking people, better in their prime, Albert or Cabrera.

Good call on Albert....

I'm going to be real interested to see how Miguel Cabrera can keep this pace up as he's entered his 30's....

The ease at which Cabrera dominates at the plate is ridiculous. He's without question the most dangerous hitter in the league right now, and most dangerous since Albert.

Both guys are so good, it's kinda splitting hairs saying one is better than the other. I'd take either one in their prime on my team lol

Ummmm. I think I'd take Barry Bonds in his prime over anybody. The guy drew intentional walks with the bases loaded...

If we are just speaking about Right Handed hitters I don't think you can go wrong with either Miggy or Albert. Miggy's gonna eat himself out of his prime tho :smh:

Bonds is on a whole different level of greatness lol

I was talking about right handed hitters only though.

Although Bonds was great, can't give him that with the assistance he had.

Wish Griffey Jr, would've had some of that healing juice, 'cause injuries robbed him of his greatness. Still a HOF'er no doubt, but he could've been GOAT.

Comments like this really rustle my jimmies.

If this attitude was consistent through baseball, half of the record books would be empty.

In an environment where PED useable was so common, I think it's pretty unfair to just write a player off. PED's obviously give you a greater chance to be a better player, but it doesn't turn everyone into a superstar. The initial talent still has to be there.

Steroid testing in baseball didn't begin till 2004, so anything done before that shouldn't be deemed as "cheating".

Albert Belle was too damn good. Shame he got robbed with the hip injury. Even then his stats were off the charts.

Not gonna do the PED debate again
