And we're about to lose to Jeremy Hefner, this team is pathetic offensively. Worse than the Marlins and the White Sox :x

I imagine it's more like documented transactions and sworn testimony.

This means what exactly? Documented transactions like handwritten notes?

Corroborating evidence against some players could prove difficult to come by, however. Several sources told ESPN that Bosch dealt only in cash, and usually used friends as couriers, sometimes never seeing some of the athletes he served.

Like I was saying how are you gonna use allegations and uncorroborated statements and info to proactively suspend players? That's ******** especially since it hasn't went to baseball court yet. The MLBPA should have a field day with this. Braun was juicing. He did his song and dance and got off on a technicality. ARod has admitted to previous use so there's a possibility there of course.

But just because we think those guys are on it again shouldn't mean you can circumvent the rules and get what you want to try and protect your already dirty and deteriorating image. Tony Bosch character is the first thing that's gonna come into question considering he's denied it for months now has completely changed face.

Bosch is expected to begin meeting with officials -- and naming names -- within a week. The announcement of suspensions could follow within two weeks.

Investigators have had records naming about 20 players for more than a month. But without a sworn statement from Bosch that the records are accurate and reflect illicit interactions between the players and the self-described biochemist, the documents were little more than a road map.

Sources did not say what other materials, such as receipts and phone records, Bosch might provide, but said he has pledged to provide anything in his possession that could help MLB build cases against the players.

Seems they have the evidence they need. From a legal perspective, it doesn't have to be much more than a billing invoice to qualify as documentary evidence - just as long as it's authenticated by a sworn witness.

From the OTL report on ESPN.com:

"One player listed who will be scrutinized but possibly exonerated is the Nationals' Gio Gonzalez, who was listed among Biogenesis clients, but two sources told ESPN the only substances he received from the clinic were legal."

Walk off grand slam

If Hamels gets on track the Phillies can make the playoffs

Otherwise it's gonna be a fire sale of vets and Cliff Lee will get us a prospect gold mine

Just skimmed through and saw someone questioning a 100 game suspension. Sorry if its already been said, but MLB has a 3 strike approach against offenders.

Positive test 1: 50 games

2: 100 games

3: lifetime ban

Also, the Astros 6 game winning streak was snapped. What are the chances they lose 6+ in a row? haha

Yo this dude lied, won his first case on a damn technicality, he better be getting that Bonds Treatment and a 100 game suspension. Hell suspend the fool for the rest of the year, but now he's gonna get lucky cause this case will take months to get done.

That's another problem as well.

Technically, Arod and Braun haven't been suspended prior so 100 games ain't gonna fly. ARod admitted in the past, and we all know what happened with Braun, but neither were suspended. They can't hit them with 100 games it's laid out in the CBA. I think they nailed it on sportscenter. MLBPA is gonna kill the commissioners office. Only way these suspensions will work is if these 20 some odd players just accept them and choose not to fight. Because as of now this seems like posturing by gump Selig.
