Wish him the best.

He's already better than the way Yovani Gallardo has been pitching.

Yes, I'm mad. Yes, I traded for him in fantasy.

Once they figure out the scouting report on him, we'll see those numbers drop. Good for him and the dodgers.. but you guys are still terrible.

If the purge was real CB Buckner would be number 1 on the list. Blown call at first base. Braves lose

yoooo he was way out in front on that Homer. kept his hands in and armed that Dinger

Wow.

we've got a really good crop of Young ball players. Baseball Needs this in the worst way.

Great Outing for the Rays' young Chris Archer

Very Impressive

RHP, from FGCU (Not just a basketball school!) Has only pitched since halfway thru senior year of HS, has alot of room for growth still, hopefully can work his way thru their system smoothly!
The next Chris Sale out of there? :nerd:

They just intentionally walked him with two outs.

He's been "hot" and a base was open. Let's not act like he's Barry Bonds.

Not sure why ppl keep sweating this dude. He wasn't even the best rookie on the field last night and still won't be this afternoon. And on a side note, I'm sure the Dodgers play by play dude is a legend, but listening to him as an away fan is brutal. Sounds like he's calling a game in black & white.

Yea I hate the dodgers announcer...idc if he is a legend...feels like its the old days when people depended on radios to hear game broadcasts

Vin Scully is better than pretty much every teams play-by-play guy. I can't stand listening to the Nats guys. The Orioles dudes are even worse, but then again MASN is a garbage network.

@MadJ ... I guess when YOUR squad is so ******, you need all the excitment you can get. Like I said, he's not even the best rookie in the series. Have some months like Oso Blanco then we'll revisit this discussion.

I love when people knock a player that's hot. Whether its Dom Brown or Puig, give the guy credit while they're putting up the numbers. Baseball is a game of streaks. Look at the post season Cody Ross had for example. Obviously they can't keep up the pace they're at cause no one is gonna hit 100HRs in a season lol

Baseball is a game of streaks. A player is never as bad as their slumps and never as good when fully locked in.

For those of you who don't like Vin, I don't even know what to say to that. Vin Scully is baseball.

Its one thing to give the man some credit but its another to act like he's unlike anyone in the league. There's a thread calling him the next Bo Jackson for christs sake.

As for announcers, how many away broadcasts do ppl really listen to? Shockingly the Marlins guys are really good. I like the Pirates dudes too.

With MLB.TV you have a chance to listen to every teams broadcast. There are 2 I absolutely won't listen to, and that's the White Sox and Tigers lol

I really do need that excitement, the Nats are the most boring team in baseball at the moment. And you're acting like Gattis is setting the world on fire. It's possible that Puig could put up more power production in his first week in the bigs than Gattis has in his best month.

Big Game James last two outings, 7 innings each, 2 Earned Runs, & 1 Earned Run... No Wins.

When Ryan Howard was on his tear, You had to figure he would be a 500 Home run guy, will he even get to 400?
