That was the worst no hitter of all time
Laughable statement.  What about AJ Burnett's where he walked 9 batters?  What about Edwin Jackson's no hitter where close to 50% of his pitches he threw were balls (something like 75 total balls thrown :x ).  What about that no hitter in the 60s where the team lost the game?

To call Timmy's no hitter, where he struck out 13 batters, the worst no hitter of all time, is absolutely idiotic.

Definitely not a great no-hitter, though. But congrats, I guess.

I'm fine with people not caring about PEDs, but please tell me nobody is naive enough to say he was clean

Regardless derby is tonight, go El Toro

AL MVP - Cabrera

NL MVP - I love Gooooooold

AL Cy Young - King Felix has been the best pitcher but we know how these guys love them dubyas so it could end up being Scherzer

NL Cy Young - Kershaw

I got El Toro from Da Heightz tonight.

fans in SF have some of the dumbest logic in sports sometimes
Says the guy who knocks a QB for throwing to his number 1 more than all his other receivers.. lol

Why though?  Because he threw a ton of pitches?  He had 10 strikeouts and works deep into counts a lot.  I am not saying it was an amazing no hitter, or even better than Homer Baileys from a few weeks ago.  But Timmy dominated the Padres.  One inning he had two walks and that was a pseudo-rally.  Other than that, he was in total control.

when did i ever do that? take your backwards *** football logic back to the football thread

Nor am I saying it was the worst no-hitter, but because he regularly works into deep counts doesn't make his case any better. If anything, it speaks to how much more he has to do to get through a game. Dominance doesn't come to mind given that.

I am totally with you bro.  I dont think you and I are disagreeing.  I was simply replying to dude that said it was the worst no hitter ever.  With ample research, I am sure any one of us can come up with a dozen less dominant no hitters, easily.  But any time a pitcher strikes out basically 50% of all the outs recorded, its a pretty dominant performance.

Look closely at Roger Maris' career and what happened with him after his career was over. A very familiar story. This is coming ffom a huge Yankee fan. A guy hits a little less more than 22% of his career HR's in one season, high of 39 before the record, never hits more that 33 the rest of his career, injuries start to plague him and dies young.

I mean, that happens to players today and the fans go nuts. Chris Davis is getting flack from every corner. But the old guys are untouchable. Same with those who despise Bonds for the mere fact he was an -edited-

With the testing in place now and Seligs obsession with the game being 'clean', I don't know why people would have any problem with his season so far. It's cool and will be fun to watch

^^ But testing isn't obviously working like it should. 20 players that never tested positive just got caught in that miami clinic scandel. (Ryan braun is a different debate though)

Bonds never happened?

Bonds went from looking like Ken Griffey Jr to looking like a black Mark McGwire in one offseason........

I liked Bonds in Pittsburgh and before he started juicing in SF. I know that majority of the league was juicing and the MLB knew it so I'm fine with it. I'm mad at Bonds for doing it though because HE DIDN'T NEED IT
