Had money on this phillies game. Man I was loving everything till the 9th inn, I can't believe this **** really just happend. First papelbunz blows the lead. 3 outs all I needed 3 ******g outs ! Now it's bottom 9th. 1 error, pitcher slipped, batter gets hit. So now Basesloaded NO OUTS, can't score 1 damn run to tie this game. This offense is so damn pathetic it's ashame. 2 pop ups and a ground ball, all they need to do was get some wood on the bat but no looked like they swinging for the damn fence. Cole pitched a magnificent game tonight to.

Cards finally woke up, that skid was horrible. I'd rather them have that bump now than the final weeks of the season. Enjoy 1st place, it won't last.

We're about to find out just how important Yadi is (and have already begun to). I think they fall off pretty considerably for as long as he is out.

It's not that I don't like him. I just don't think he's some ace that people make him out to be after last year where he stole a Cy Young. He's a good #2. I don't think someone who throws as many fastballs as he does right over the plate will work outside of a place like Tampa that 1 - suppresses power and 2 - has a phenomenal defense behind him.
 
Junior Lake with another 4 hits, tho not enough for a W.

Still tho, the kid has 16 games played and like 25 hits with 9 multi hit games.

Picked him up today in my fantasy points league cause Hanley was on the bench. 4 singles, 4 points. Meh, not impressed...

He looks like a solid player. Hopefully he doesn't catch the "I don't care bug" that Castro has lol

Over the past 3 years, he has 3.33 era in the road and 2.55 at home. Most pitchers have a lower era at home, guess it is just a comfort factor.

He's able to throw so many fastball cause of his velocity and arm angle. It is just a tough pitch to square up. I def wouldn't hold that against him.

His career FIP and xFIP are .3 higher than his era. I don't think it's really fair to penalize any pitcher for having a good defense behind him. It def can impact the way a pitcher throws though, but at the same time I think he has the stuff to boost his k% if he needed to.
