Hope he gets the ROY.  We'll see what the voters decide is more valuable......statistics or a perceived spark given to his team and narrative.  We all know that if this was the NBA, Puig would win the ROY by a landslide.  I'm rooting for Fernandez now.

It'll be Farrell. They always use the narrative of which of the teams at the top of the league had the worst record last year.

Yea, it's definitely going to Farrell...but....

I think the job Girardi has done this year has been nothing short of miraculous.

The Sox roster has been good/competitive for about a decade or so. Last year was an aberration because of Bobby V's ineptitude. To me, the Yankees have dealt with far more issues, both on and off the field...the fact that Girardi has kept them in playoff contention is a testament to the job he's done with that roster.

Oh, I definitely agree that Joe should be MOY. Especially if they pass all these teams for the WC playoff. I'm just giving my two cents on how the voting will go

I watched the Marlins Braves highlight breakdown on MLB Tonight.  I wholeheartedly agree with them.  The fact that Fernandez is getting negative attention is an absolute joke.  For a couple of reasons.  1) Gattis pimped the hell out of his homerun FIRST, when they were losing 4-0.  2) Chris Johnson was running his mouth during his third at bat, and continued to do so while running to first base after he hit a lazy fly ball to left field.

THEN Fernandez admired his homerun.

I just dont understand the logic behind the reactions.  First of all, Fernandez decided to be the bigger man, and own up to what he did.  He said he felt embarrassed and he will learn from this.  I thought it was classy and showed that he took ownership of this.  Great move.

THEN Brian McCann goes on to say (and I am paraphrasing): "He realized that he messed up. I think emotions got the best of him.  You cant do that here.  You will get someone hurt."

Oh really McCann?  To steal from what Harold Reynolds said last night.....did you make similar comments to Chris Johnson and Evan Gattis after the game?  Because these two clowns are the ones who started this entire mess.  I almost guarantee you that McCann didnt say anything close to that to his teammates, if anything at all.

As an baseball fan who doesnt have a horse in this race, I gained a ton of respect for Fernandez for this.  Subsequently, I lost respect for Gattis, Johnson and more specifically Brian McCann.
Braves are scumbags. They love to pimp their own homers but if someone does it to them they ***** and cry about it and come out looking like the victims.

Fernandez is the real deal :pimp: homie hit an absolute tank shot and the pimp job was on point

Its hilarious to me how Chris Johnson ran past Fernandez and straight behind the Umpire before talking S*&%

even if i wasnt a marlins fan jose fernandez would be my favorite player

Chris Johnson is a clown. Before twitter blew up, he was always tweeting at random pornstars haha that thirst.

It wasn't McCann's place to give an oponnent "advice", Chris Johnson sprinting behind the ump :smh:...

Johnson is lucky a Marlin teammate didn't do the Goldberg spear on him.

Johnson is straight up gangsta though...

Yeah the braves do pimp out their homeruns, we in first place though with a magic number of 5 to clinch. Haters gonna hate

Chris Johnson is a clown but the Marlins manager is an even bigger clown for not sticking up for his pitcher. Fernandez answering back w/ a home run was the dopest **** considering he's a pitcher. Spitting on 3rd base was

Jo-Fer is slowly becoming one of my favorite pitchers/players in the league.

The response to Gattis was refreshing. Calm, cool, collected.

To nitpick, the only minor thing I didn't like was spitting on third but Johnson will get over it.

I have an early hunch the Sox will win the WS.

Anything can happen in baseball, but they have that it factor right now. Ball is rolling their way.

I'm a Cleveland fan, bro. Just admire Daniels' business model and FO approach.

Texas misses the bats of Cruz and Napoli too. I don't know what's wrong with Holland. No Harrison most of the season.

Have to win the next two against the A's. Sweep Houston. Figure you have to win at least 12 of the last 16 against Oakland, KC, Houston, Tampa, LAA.

Honestly don't see it, but I'm unwavering in my prediction. I'll admit I'm wrong when it doesn't happen.
