Robinson can want whatever he'd like, he'll still take something just above 200 million dollars. ESPECIALLY when you consider that there are only two teams that will realistically discuss numbers that high. He doesn't have a market to drive up his number.

Don't see him getting $200 million. Who can give him that loot?

Three, hunned, fi

Couple stacks short of a half bil this guy wants. Jeeeeeeeeesus.

I predict he ends up with the Angels, call it a hunch.

 What's amazing is there is even a chance (and there is) Cano gets close to $300 million with the countless examples we have of this not working. He will be 31 (and a half) opening day next season.

But as we know by now agents control everything and if they want it they will get close to it.

Robinson **** outta here with that **** lol..who ever signs him for that much are some suckers..I dnt care what anyone says

I actually think it's fairly likely. The Yankees will be desperate for star power once Jester retires to fill up that stadium, and their farm system isn't flowing with that kind of talent. The Dodgers aren't in severe need, but their money is long and it isn't a huge stretch for them to offer something near 200 million.

Yankees will not sign him for that amount.

Not with Hank Steinbrenner owning the team, remember he was the one against signing A-Rod to that ridiculous contract..

I truly hope that when Robbie signed with Jay-Z, he went from all about the Yankees to all about the money. He fired Boras for not even considering opening the door for the Yanks to negotiate in spring training. Now, to end up like this? I love you Robbie but not like this.

David Price
Cano
Girardi

Quote me now, two of those three end up in Chicago next season.

This will be the first free agent star to leave the Yankees willingly.

Kasten has been adamant in saying they don't like giving big contracts to players beyond the age 35 mark.

Cano is going to be 31 on Opening Day. Plus the Dodgers will have some toxic contracts they will have to unload, and by unload they will be eating a huge portion to move these bodies: Beckett, Ethier, Billingsley?, Crawford?.

I just don't see them offering a 10 year deal to Cano, when he'll be 41 at the end of the contract. Maybe they can sucker the Angels into giving him the loot, they are moving Kendrick, and they like giving out these awful long term deals to players in their 30's.

Dodgers tried to make a move for Kendrick at the deadline and I could see them going after him in the off season, move makes more sense than Cano.

and jayson werth, carl crawford, johan santana, kevin brown, mike hampton, gary matthews jr, juan pierre, etc...etc...

Apples and oranges man, don't even understand the point you are trying to make.

^^just a general and broad bad contract point. I know. .I Know...Fas r like popcorn in a bag.. but some are simply 100% unjustifiable. How do u jusyify GMJs contract?

The dodgers only deals they really have to worry about hanram and kershaw extensions..kemps deal runs thru age 35...gonzo till 35...craws and dres..so..yeah im not worried about guggenheim breaking the bank for 10 yrs for 31 yo cano...hence the interest in guerrero. .kendrick is the guererro backup and im perfectly fine with that.

The point is..the pujols contract with a NTclause was a mistake and everybody involved knows it..the arod extention thru 42 set the standard on what not to do..

lesson to be learned-spend wisely and dont throw money at ppl in a thin market just for the sake of doing it or to appease your fanbase. Some Sucker is always gonna overpay..just dont let it be you. 5/110...thats the most I give cano, period and only cuz he plays second.
