Not arguing that at all.
Wasn't really directing anything towards you if that's what you thought. I was just stating my opinion on that rotation since that's what everyone is talking about at the moment.

All good bro.  Wasnt trying to come at you either.  Just when I hear someone call any unproven entity a top _____, I tend to question it.

Justin Morneau and Joe Nathan have both had good reports recently, by the way.

I think it was Venom who I talked about that with.

Cahill was one of the luckiest starters in baseball last year...

Brett Anderson is their best pitcher.

Cut the kid some slack, he was 22; I dont think he's peaking anytime soon. With that dope ##% sinker, he'll be effective for quite some time (like Rich Harden, if he didn't have a vagina).

Oh, he's gonna be good... Just extremely lucky last year and probably pitched over his head a bit...

I want to see how Gio does this year. He took great strides last year and learned to keep his emotions in check. As far as Cahill, I don't expect the same type of year but he's still going to be a solid pitcher. Brett needs to stay healthy, everyone knows what he can do. Braden IMO just doesn't get enough credit. He's no ace but he is a solid pitcher, especially at the 4 spot. We don't have that big name "ace" but we got 4 pitchers who are all young and can match up with the best of them. Their young and their still going to go through growing pains, but the talent is definitely there. If this team is healthy (which is a big if), they should contend in the west. Offense isn't pretty, but it's improved and the bullpen looks real strong.

I've never hated the team across the bay. In fact, I root for them to do well. I just have a good feeling about the A's this year.

Definitely agree, Cahill overachieved and will come down to Earth a bit this season, and like you mentioned Anderson is supposed to be our best pitcher. Assuming (yes, assumptions must be made) these young pitchers are playing and not crowding the DL, our staff should be among the top in baseball.

I really dont want you to think I hate the A's, because I dont.....but I am still curious to hear what your definition of top is.  The A's dont have a top 3 staff.  IMO they arent in the top 5 either.  So where are they?  Top 10?  Is that really considered among the top in baseball?
