IMO, his 08 and 09 seasons are better than any season Kershaw has had so far. But then I'd have to get into the advanced stats and then people will tell me I don't watch and I don't need the frustration
They are very similar, yes, at this point. Yet people throw these statements out. Numbers don't lie, Kershaws 2013 was ridiculous, and it completely flew under the radar because,well that is what he is expected to do.
Compare Lincecums 2008 and 2009 to Kershaw's 2011 and 2013 and say he hasn't had a dominant year like Lincecum. Those statements are laughable.
Got to give Lincecum the nod due to the playoffs, Kershaw had a tough NLCS. Getting beat on a 2 hitter against Michael Wacha and then getting destroyed in Game 6.
More dominant? Don't think so.
