Nats gonna murk the NL East (i hope)

they're calling for snow here in NC 4-6 inches I think

I
NY might get hit with another 10 inches of snow again this Thursday :smh: .

I don't even know if we've gotten 10" of rain. :pimp:

But seriously, one of the worst droughts recently. Finally got some much needed rain this past weekend.

What is going on with Ubaldo? Arroyo got a deal. Maholm, Hanson, and other lower tier pitchers are getting signed. And you're at least hearing rumors about teams going after Burnett and Santana. Even Cleveland inquired about Santana recently according to reports. But no news at all on Ubaldo.
Ubaldo and Santana both lowered their demands significantly. Toronto was in on both and seems to be leaning Santana's way. Santana went from 5/100 to like 3/45.

I don't think the Marlins are gonna be the doormat this year. I think 3-5 are gonna be terrible overall, with only one actually moving upwards

Santana in the ALE is game over. Seattle should look at him if the price is that low.

I really think Z can throw 3/50 and get it done quick for Santana.

Mets will be competitive. Grandy, Colon, Young. I despise Lagares' bat.

I'd go something like:

1. Young, Jr.
2. Murph
3. Wright
4. Grandy
5. Ike
6. Chris Young
7. d'Arnaud
8. Tejeda
9. Pitcher

1. Colon
2. Niese
3. Wheeler
4. Gee
5. Mejia/Dice-K/Lannan

#5 will be Noah's spot eventually, probably after ASB.

Man, you're begging for 500 strikeouts with Grandy and Ike back to back

These teams just tossing kids into rotations and wondering where they went wrong need to take hard look at St. Louis. You build them better by going bullpen > 5 inning starts > full time starter.

Yes, sir. Love the STL way. Most teams don't have the luxury of Yadi framing pitches and developing young arms.

I actually think Ike is going to rake. He had monster 2010 and 2012 seasons, I believe off the top. Trade talks to Milwaukee and Tampa will motivate him.

Duda's buns.

Mets are going to be trash again even worst than 2013 with Harvey out for a full year. Your lineup 4-9 is going to K a ton. Ike Davis is done nothing is going to motivate him. D'Arnaud was a disappointment and Tejada can't hit. Mets fans been saying in 2009 they're going to be better in 3-4 years so its finally past those 3-4 years still not ready.

I actually believe the Marlins will improve with another full year of Jose Fernandez. I hope the Braves can trade Kimbrel for Jose Fernandez just wishful thinking because Braves aren't going to spend upwards of 10-16 million dollars for a closer in Kimbrel no matter how great he is. that makes me sad hes going to be a Yankee when he becomes a free agent. They will try to trade him for an ace before the trade deadline.

Dan Uggla and BJ Upton are trash they're not going to improve. 1 year of wathing BJ and i can already tell hes garbage.

My projection is obviously very optimistic. I have no ties to the Mets, just posting what I see.

You hope Young can channel his Arizona days. Hit 20 homers and swipe close to 20 bags in essentially a contract year.

Bro, Ike mashed in two seasons for NYM. 2010 and 2012. 32 home runs in the latter year. He'll find his swing.

Tejada hit over .280 his previous two seasons to 2013. Still a player for Drew.

Look, I'm not saying Mets are going to win the division. But watch Wheeler grasp his control/command. Noah coming through the pipeline. This team is going to be a .500 ball club with 80-81 wins. That's a step in the right direction with Terry as a gatekeeper.

How the F has Santana not got signed yet. You're talking about Ervin right? Kansas City should pony up that 3/45 if thats all it'll take QUICK

I'll admit this prediction is partially for shock factor. Do I believe it fully? No, not 100%.

Royals
Tigers
Indians
White Sox
Twins

Aoki's addition is huge, underrated. Moves Gordon down the order. Hosmer will be a unheralded MVP candidate. Moustakas will find his stroke. Added Infante and Vargas. Perez one of the better young catchers. Butler still a veteran bat presence. Shields leading your line. Holland was the best closer in the AL in 2013. I admit the RF corner spot leaves a bit to be desired, one area of weakness.

I like the makeup of KC. They'll probably finish second at best. But I'll stick with my bold prediction.
