Unlike the NFL, you don't get the same experience watching at home as you do at the actual game.
I know this is the MLB thread, but I wholeheartedly disagree that you get the same experience watching an NFL game at home as you do when you are actually at the game.
in what way, because honestly, i feel like i get a better experience watching it at home. (mostly because of personal pet peeves)

i like being at the games because i get to watch warmups, and see little things players do, catch interactions i wouldn't see on tv.

i like being at home because I HATE being surrounded by drunks who feel like sporting events are a venue to act like uncivil human beings.
Well, depending on where you are sitting and what not, the whole surrounded by drunks idea could apply to pretty much any sport and any venue.  There is just something different about actually being at a football game.  Everyone is hyped up.  You feel like you are actually making a difference.  You get to see things that the television doesnt always capture (how players act on the sidelines, why a play worked/didnt work, a receiver wide open that a quarterback missed, how plays develop.....basically get to watch parts of plays that arent captured on TV because cameras only follow the ball).

I guess its all personal preference if you like to go to games or watch on tv....but I dont agree at all that you get the same experience in person as you get when watching on TV.  Not even close.

I love watching baseball games on t.v. at home or a bar. Love going to the baseball stadium. Either way it is a great time. To the dude that said NFL is great to watch on tv I would disagree and it really is a personal preference. I hate the NFL and don't watch like I used to. In fact I enjoy going to a football game and tailgaiting. I don't even pay attention to the game. For me Goodell ruined it. It is all opinion and what you enjoy.

I'm really regret passing up tickets for today's home opener to watch this slop

I hate Ruben Amaro Jr

It's almost as if...steroids don't do all that much to help you hit a baseball.

Strange.

Obviously it doesn't do anything for hand/eye coordination....but all of a sudden those ground rule doubles are going clean over the fence for a HR.

This is beating a dead horse. I dunno why i just responded to you

The two fans entered the field in the bottom of the eighth inning from stands on the third-base line and ran into the outfield before being tackled by security. One of the fans even tried hiding behind Orioles shortstop Ryan Flaherty.

Jones didn't find any of the shenanigans funny.

"I remember a couple of years ago, one dude broke his ankle in Baltimore," Jones said. "I was laughing at him. I wish he shattered his femur because it's stupid. It's just plain old stupid. Anybody who does it, I wish the cops tase the living [crap] out of them. I wish that."

My dude, AJ :pimp:

He's 100% right.

Ryan Braun had three more HRs by himself in one game than the entire Royals team have had this season thus far....

Mike Moustakas now 0-18 on the year...

Royals pitching though...

I can't believe Braun hit 3 today. Must have got a hookup from David Ortiz's connect.

I'm a big Adam Jones fan but the **** he was saying today was foolish. I think running on the field is mad dumb but saying I wish we could kick the people with our cleats? What the ****?

"And they should let us have a shot to kick them with our metal spikes on because it's stupid."
