Shoutout to the homie @madj55 for doing the work for me.

You dont wanna use the ring example, fine. I'll take the guy with slightly worse regular season accomplishments who shoves in the playoffs over the guy who gets blown up in the playoffs. 100 times out of 100.

Chris making a coming back at 41? you mean Jon

 Damn. Surprised no one caught that. I even looked at the title for a minute because something didn't register right, but just moved along.

Mets just passed the Nats in the standings...:smh:

In other news, Ryan Zimmerman is coming off the DL tomorrow and will be playing LF in a major league game. Heard he didn't look bad out there during his rehab assignment but I'm kinda concerned about this. Especially since Zim moving to LF means Danny Espinosa gets to stay in the lineup :x

On Timmy/Clayton...don't you kinda have to count the individual performances in the post season? I'm not going to say that the rings make Tim > Kershaw but outside of one start against St. Louis, you can't find a bad performance. IMO, his 08 and 09 seasons are better than any season Kershaw has had so far. But then I'd have to get into the advanced stats and then people will tell me I don't watch and I don't need the frustration

It's extremely close but I'd lean Lincecum has had the better career right now. Kershaw will definitely pass him. Although Timmy has actually had a better season than he has the last couple. That God awful defense is killing him right now (and him walking 4+ per 9).

Sandy's dream for 90 wins slowly becoming a reality.

Nats were my NL pick, and I won't waver even with Bryce on the extended DL.

Not until the Wilpons get forced to sell.
Future is bright with a plethora of talented arms. Montero, Mejia, "Thor," Harvey, "Zack Attack," and deGrom.

Kinda makes the second year of Colon's deal a head-scratcher. Suppose it was needed to lure him away from Oakland and other suitors. 1/$10M wouldn't have done it.

Between Collins and the owners, something will get screwed up. I've never seen such a bone headed manager in the last ten years.

But then again, they're like a game or two behind the Yankees and they're beating the Phillies when it doesn't count. From the sounds of fans, the season is already a success

I'll put it like this, I can't even give away free tickets to family and friends.

People hit me with the, "Can you get Yankees tickets instead?"

That's a shame. I've been to both stadiums three times and IMO Citi Field > New Yankee Stadium. The New Yankee Stadium is way too corporate for me (depending on where you sit) just doesn't have the atmosphere that the Old Yankee Stadium had...feels like you're at a 9 inning business meeting. Citi Field is a nice park, great food (overpriced but what stadium's isnt?) and it's fun to be around Mets fans cause they don't take it too seriously and expect the worst

But then again going to see the Yankees is more exciting than seeing the Mets. Unless Harvey is on the mound, cause then the place is electric.

You can hear it straight from the mouth of a Yankee fan, Citi is MUCH better  better food, better beers, better prices, shorter lines (for obvious reasons) and I've never had an issue of the ushers letting me move up around the 4th or 5th.

I went to a Yankee game Sunday and sat in a friends suite seats and it was pretty enjoyable not having to spend anything

I try not spending money at Citi since the Wilpons don't like spending money on the team in recent years. Those pulled pork sandwiches are awesome though.
