Yankees just need to relax and take a back seat for a few years while they replenish and build their farm system. Bring up a new core for the future a la the late 90's Yankees.

This is how I feel. Stop buying old *** players for mad money. I've seen this team win so much and I'm appreciative for what I've been luck enough to witness. I wanna see us build and get a bunch of young guys. I'm cool with a few losing seasons. You can't win every damn year.

I'm happy we're not going after Scherzer.

That's hustle. I like Wil Myers though. Maybe if they netted a CF'er as well. Ben Revere, perhaps? Probably too much to ask though.

Trust me you don't want Revere playing CF for you. Not only does he take the worst routes possible to balls but he has the arm of a 3rd grader. Even Big Papi and Jose Molina would test his arm and try to score from 3B on him.

Revere would help address the Padres need for another lefty bat and a leadoff hitter, however as mentioned above he takes Matt Kemp like routes to the ball in CF. Cole Hamels would make their rotation pretty lethal. Hamels, Cashner, Ross, Kennedy, and Despaigne is pretty solid. I'd try to acquire Jackie Bradley Jr. or even Shane Victorino (if he can still play CF) if I'm the Pads. JBJ could hold down CF in that ballpark, although he hasn't shown the ability to hit in the bigs yet. Victorino is getting up there in age, but if he can still play CF and returns to 2013 form he could leadoff for them. However, he's not a switch hitter anymore so they'd still need to add another lefty bat.

Jung Ho Kang's winning bidder is to be announced tomorrow. Sources saying it's the Phillies or Nationals. I highly doubt it's the Nats, though.

My dude. :pimp:

Been an interesting off season. I might be one of the few Friar fans on here, but having no fanbase has one advantage. I usually buy a $15 nosebleed ticket and end up with a field level seat by the 3rd inning!

**** this guy not ranking Sammy but not worried about flaws, rumors, etc. :smh:

When's the fantasy baseball draft P proshares

This loser has Clemens second and Smoltz 24th? List is invalid right away. Smoltz deserves to be in top 10 there. And Piazza should be higher. Can't underesotimate how much tougher it is hitting that well behind the plate. And joe Jackson shouldn't even be listed.

maybe 10 is a reach but top 15, 20 for sure. i'd put him in over moose and schilling. smoltz was dominant as a starter and a closer. man was brilliant despite some of his injuries.

I will eventually update everything and post articles and ****. Been off the grid for the last few weeks.

Glad you're ok man. Thought you were in jail or somethin.

Good to have you back. Your attention will be welcome in the QB thread when you get the time.
