Scherzer to the Nats isn't that surprising. Now according to Jon Morosi, the Nats have talked to multiple teams about trading Jordan Zimmermann. My guess is the Red Sox and Cubs are two of the teams that are probably interested in Zimmermann.

Yep  I read that too.  He is deferring half of his $30M a year so that his 7 year contract pays him for 14 years.  Smart move.

What is even more crazy, is the guy who was their #5 starter last year, who had 15 wins and a 2.85 ERA.......is subsequently out of the rotation unless a trade is made.
