I've gone to games solo and at the end of the day I'm there to watch baseball. I have also gone on trips with people who don't like baseball but I still went and did my thing, no regrets :pimp:

I go to a lot of college games by myself, mainly cause no one else cares about college baseball lol

I always try to sit/stand by all the scouts so I can learn something. I got a lot of good info out of a white sox scout when I went to watch Mark Appel at Rice a couple years ago.

My school is also walking distance from Minute Maid. A couple times last year I took a study break to go buy a $5 ticket, watch batting practice and then leave lol

I don't do any scorekeeping, though.

If you've never been to a weekday day game alone, try it. It's kind of a religious experience if you love baseball. Nice afternoon weather, no distractions or drinking too much or whatever.

Especially if your team is like the Indians and there are about 4,000 people there (and you can make your own seat upgrade).

i went to a mets home opener about 2 years ago? with my buddy and every inning we moved up a couple of rows. by the 8th inning we were sitting in the first row in between first base and right field. was pretty smashed that game. good times.

i pretty much went to game 6 WS clinching win for the Sox at Fenway in 2013...had a blast, obviously

totally different experience than what Kev was talking about, of course. the atmosphere was anything but casual and relaxed

Solo baseball games are wonderful.

Five years ago i had behind the dugout seats for a game but i didn't go because no one wanted to go with me :smh:

I will hit up a game solo this year

especially since i have Wednesday & Thursday off.

BTW anybody going to the Dodgers vs Mariners game 4/14?

@adamdberry: Brady Aiken, last year's No. 1 Draft pick, left his first start for IMG Academy with a trainer after throwing 13 pitches.
